I know there have been some criticism towards Autosport, but up until now I've though they would've been at least somewhat independent - if not unbiased in their stories at least bringing in something new, perhaps another angle to a story. But now - exactly same story with Q & A's from Latvala - one on wrc.com and other Autosport site. On other site it says "the Ford driver told Autosport" and on the other "the Ford driver told wrc.com". On Autosport it has David Evans in the byline, so it's hardly an M-Sport press release - or is it? I've not kept record on this, because I don't always bother to click on the stories on wrc.com- has it happened before? It makes nice contrast to the story autosport.cz published today on FIA priority drivers issue - through Googlish that didn't sound force fed. And there's nothing wrong with the story, just how it've been multi-channeled.

Well, what an incredible day!! Went exactly as planned, left SS3 when it was stopped, anyone know why?? Was at the lake section with a muddy bit, luckily nobody slid into the crowd but a few of the top guys were on the grass, Mikko nicely sideways and kept it planted, Kimi on the brakes and stalled..
Went from there to beginning of SS6, and if I had known what a climb it would be to get there I wouldn't have bothered, seriously it nearly killed me, my legs were shaking and my head was spinning and I didn't have a clue what I was doing!! :s Anyway forced myself to continue until there was a corner with some sun but when standing on the rocks halfway through the stage my legs gave way and I had to grab a rock to stop myself falling over the edge  So a bit sore but now just looking forward to a late start in the morning...... But anyway really enjoyed driving around today, some spectacular views!
Go Petter!!! :bounce:
It was stopped because of the crash of Van Merksteijn JrQuote:

Peter jr is ok, his navi has to stay in hospital due to back injury, spine not ok
looks like we are going to have another star if everythig goes well, and I mean Tanak of course

What exactly happened?
“We came to the start of the stage, everything was fine. We had discussed things with our engineer and we were happy and ready to start. About 500 metres before the start, we went onto some gravel section there was no drive to the front differential anymore. We had nothing. There was no time to do anything, we had to just go into the stage and drive. We tried to do the stage as well as we could. It [the front differential] gave some drive in some moments, but it was very difficult to drive, it was pulling from one side to the other.”
To us out here, seems we want Ford to win... But really Petter Solberg... Does it matter what he is driving or the fact we're supporting the driver?? :D
Well we've had one Ford win this year, it's kinda boring seeing the one team win over and over, but Solberg is very deserving of his position at the moment.Quote:

Shame for Tanak. Now Juho need just finish.
Solberg's losing it - 15s down on Loeb on 3rd split. Foreseeable yet unfortunate. It would be nice to have a new winner.
Solberg pulling it back? Or Loeb losing a tad?
And more interesting splits, Ogi losing also to Mikko, now slower...
Missed junction for Petter. Lost 8-10 secs.
AHHH!!!
Latvala +4'25 on split 1 SS8 !!!
Prehaps Solberg can get back some time from Hirvonen, Ogier and Loeb on the 3 re-runs this afternoon.
Ogier flying :bounce:
Edit: but no final time yet
Ogier should be at the end already but no time for him...
Anyone know whats happenned to jml??
Turbo
Dammit:-(Quote:

is there a tv broadcast at acropolis rallye on tv or just the power stage this year?
i mean live broadcast
Solberg might do better on the re-runs this afternoon if he still has the lead after SS9.
Solberg's lead only five seconds now. Let's see will the elder statesman shake up a little in the afternoon.
Road positions won't really matter on the next 3 stages, but Solberg won't want to finish the day leading anyway.
