Very smart of GRIFONE to drive a Punto, get to know it and then use that experience to develop an Auris. :D
Interesting !!! According to Ralis.Online.Pt, IRC champion Enrique Garcia-Ojeda and Peugeot-Spain would have been invited by Peugeot-Portugal to drive last round of portuguese championship Rali Casino do Algarve
There could be then at least three 207s on that event(Bruno Magalhaes, Miguel Campos and Enrique Garcia Ojeda) :D
About the Fiat-Portugal driver José Pedro Fontès it seems he will have to change of codriver, Fernando Prata having been hurt in the crash at Rali Mortagua :mark:
Any pics of Andrej Jereb's 207 tests/presentation for the Waldviertel Rally ??
Are Grifone with their strong links to Toyota going to take over the promotion of their S2000 cars in Europe? Very strong suggestions in the UK that RED are no longer involved...
Grifone is becoming the european arm of Toyota S2000R project I have heard. They will use the Corolla as is, to gain experience, and concentrate on developing the Auris.
Anyone that has heard differently ?
In SA the Auris is being tested already:

This Grifone deal gives much more credibility to Toyota`s program.
I think both the Corolla and the first picks of the Auris show that the Toyota looks much more like a ordinary car than the more agressive looking Pugs, VW and Fiat's - not to mention the Skoda, even if that only was a "model".
Maybe Grifone will have an impact here as well ?
For me the looks are less important than the speed + body kits raise the price too... So, looks are nice to have, but I'm allready happy whan Toyota is rallying and not throwing away its budget to F1!
Filip, are you sure? :)Quote:

Just found out a great article concerning the Ford Fiesta S2000:
http://www.rally.com.au/home/features/articleid=2652
So, it will get FIA homologation in 2008!!!
JIHAAA!!!
A Fiesta in the UK would be just awesome!
Ex-TRA(Trofeo Rally Asfalto)drivers Felice Re and Tobia Cavallini will drive S2000 cars last round of the CIR(Campionato Italiano Rally)next week(Rally di Como) !!! :D
Felice Re(who unsuccesfully drove a Skoda Fabia WRC on TRA)will drive a Fiat Grande Punto S2000 while Tobia Cavallini(who drove a Subaru Impreza WRC on TRA and an Impreza GrN on a few selected CIR events) will drive the newly Tam-Auto 207 S2000... ;)
I'm not 100% sure, but they changed bumpers few times so anything is possible.Quote:

Certainly because of the preparation and check of the spanish 207 for the 2008 IRC season... :mark:
Andrej Jereb was testing Peugeot 207 S2000 ( from Friulmotors ) on shakedown of Waldviertel rally in Austria. He`s happy with the car.

Nice livery !!! :D
It's the first time a 207 S2000 will run on Dunlop tyres though :mark:
According to Echappement magazine of november, Mathieu Biasion(french nefiew of the famous italian driver Massimo "Micky" Biasion)will drive a 207 S2000 on 8 events of the 2008 IRC !!!
Greaaaat! :D
According to Autosprint(italian motorsport magazine), Alessandro Broccoli's team would buy two 207 S2000s to run next year italian gravel rallies championship ;)
Stephane Sarrazin will drive a Peugeot 207 S2000 in the last round of the Portuguese rally championship, Rally do Algarve, to help Peugeot in the manufactures championship.
Hey.Good news.Will he drive 207 in future?I mean in next season?Quote:

Peugeot-Sport Italy will also send there their driver Luca Rossetti in the 207 S2000 ;)
I don't know if there will be other(s) S2000(s)
