Actually, shakedown was near Karlstad. The other stages are in a little bit better condition.
Yes, gravel started to come out after a couple of cars. I think most of it came from the cars cutting through the ditches, where there would normally be snowbanks. Ruts started forming too. There will certainly be some gravel on the second run of the stages tomorrow and saturday and sunday. Although it wasn't too bad. After roughly 2½ hours of the stage had gone, there was a FIA Safety car that went through (I think to check the condition of the stage) and rally cars kept coming after that so they must have been happy with it.Quote:

It is now clear that Urmo Aava Citroen C4 WRC turbo broke down during the first run of shakedown. The turbo was changed and it should be ok for the rally.
