CMR2 skins - Editing & Downloading - Links and how to..

I've scrolled through every forum, but knowing nothing about computers, could someone help me?

All I want to do is re-name the cars on the car select menu, and results tables. I've seen links to things to do it, but they don't work or are expired. If someone could post a link with a step-by-step guide to tell me how, I would appreciate it a lot!

By the morning then, yeah ;)

Get the tool called cmr2edit from the colinmcrae.110mb.com site

DO NOT CHANGE GRIP SETTINGS...just go to the BFL unpacker

unpack the CMR2-> CountrySpecific->Europe->englishtext.bfl file

You'll get three text files, genglish, fenglish and senglish (XD)

Go through those files and change the text

Re-pack the englishtext folder

Done

I got up to unpacking the englishtext.bfl, but this screen came up and I don't know what to do. There is no 'genglish, fenglish and senglish (XD) ' in sight!

Help ...

You'll need to specify an unpack destination, I suggest the desktop for easy access.

Then unpack it again, and you'll have a folder called englishtext on the desktop and the three files, "genglish", "fenglish" and "senglish" will be in there
