not perse for the old veteran drivers, but it's making life more difficult for new young drivers.
And it's just a stupid rule that doesn't make any difference, if they run out of test days they just enter some local rally somewhere.

That's a good point. If they can organise it properly it will be very helpful promotionally. Visit part of classic stages, go to countries with no WRC history and grow interest,create a small service park with amenities. That's proper. It's doubtful they can execute it, though.

Lappi used Lithuanian rally championship event for 'testing', many runs on shakedown... and he's won of course this rally :) Shakedown was on drying gravel after heavy rain a day before, then on Fri stages were dry, and on Sat heavy rain first and drying stages again.
