"If we had managed to get Ogier in the car, I would say that we are the favorites of the championship. With the withdrawal of Ford, I guess we lost a little budget but apart from a few redundancies in the team, I do not see much difference compared to last year. We always support the plant and I have a development budget. Ford loss was offset by the arrival of new partners like Qatar and the fact that we no longer owe Latvala, a big budget. When I see the collection of balls that we made last year, I'm not sure that the investment was very profitable. Now we have three new youth. They are not even the likes of Loeb, Sordo, Ogier and Latvala but they still have room for improvement. It is an investment in the future. I intend that we gain one or the other. "

Lol. looks like Christian Loriaux is not a big fan of Latvala "Mais Thierry est devenu un espoir et a montré de très belles choses l’an dernier. Certes de temps en temps il va bien nous faire une petite Jarimatit (sic) mais je crois en lui."

Reading between the lines looks like the dream team of Loriaux is Ogier + Latvala. OMG

But Thierry is becoming a hope and showed some very lovely things last year. Certainly from time to time he'll perform well enough to be our 'little Jari-Matti' (Sarcastically meaning, he'll crash sometimes) but I believe in him.

So Neuville and Ogier is the Loriaux dream-team. I hope JML proves him wrong !!

No I meant that "budget" part. I understood what he meant here, but this is not entirely Latvala's fault. Ford just needed victories, unfortunately against Loeb.

Loriaux is doing the politician thing. 'If the driver hadn't crashed so much we would have been in contention' I believe the reverse but then I am a big fan of JML. Nearly time to see how Loriaux's choices perform

I'm sure he can surprise lot of people, just doesn't need to put too much pressure on himself.
