Bad news from Poland...
Following the tragic death of the Polish President Lech Kaczynski, the First Lady, Maria Kaczynska, and many other politicians who lost their life in a terrible airplane crash today, Polish Motoring Association decided to cancel all motoring events starting from April 10.

Nobody knows now what will happen to Elmot Rally, which was to be held on Saturday, April 17.
Because of the death of polish president and 95 people onboard president's plane we have in Poland one week of national mourning.
There is not sure if Elmot Rally will run...
Because of National Mourning PZM made decision about cancel contests, stard of today.

All the supporting events are cancelled, the start/finish ceremony will also be modified, but the rally will run as it was planned (saturday and sunday).
This is a organizer's message. The final decision must, however, take the PZM (polish federation). Probably, the funeral be held on a Saturday, so surely that day will not be played episodes. With a well-informed source I know that they wonder about run the only Sunday stages.Quote:

I thought that official organizer's message included PZM's guidelines/position regarding the motorsport events. It looks it didn't, what's rather strange.
New date of Elmot Rally: 23/25 April.
