He drove most of the time of the past years in the Slovakian Rally Championship, always in a Citroën C2 R2 or a C2 R2 Max. He did the Barum Rally in 2007 and this year the Rallye Lyon-Charbonničres with a DS3 R3T.Quote:

Test in front of rally sorland.
No sign of Tuohino yet on the entry list. Entries close on Tuesday May 3rd. So far 49 crews. On the same day, 25 kms south from Hämeenlinna, there is Historic Rally Trophy/Junior FRC/Ladies FRC event Black Rocket Rally which entries closed yesterday with respectable 258 crews. It'd make a good rallying day to first see the historic cars et al. in the midday and then see last stage of FRC event in the afternoon. We'll see.Quote:

Here. Melichárek retired before SS1 (don't know reason), Orsák engine SS1, Grzyb out also on SS7. Sandell had double puncture and lost 8 minutes so Bére is in comfortable lead. Viana and Trněný in WRC cars are slower than Cserhalmi in Evo IX whose last rally was two years a go. Among 2WD very young talented Koči is fastest before another young driver Nagy.

Thanks Mirek.
10 europeans rallies this weekend, it's a lot
It's raining a lot at north of Portugal. Rally Serras de Fafe will start in 2H30
Tuohino will pass FRC event(s) now and concentrate to find a budget to run few WRC events in a WRC car later this season.Quote:

WOW !!!! Laurent Viana on podium of Rally Presov despite the local quality of entrylist
Wow? After just 100 km of stages Viana in by far the best car there lost 3,5 minutes to Béreš in S2000 car. He was just lucky about plenty of retirements. Ok, I understand he doesn't know the car and is probably driving it just for fun but hey, this is not what You can say wow about...

I was on Rally Presov. Big respect for Sandell, Beres, Grzyb, Koci and Baffy. Viana was verrrrrry slow. In fast section when all drivers including another WRC rode on full gas he slowed down. Also probably that was my last rally in Slovakia. They have good stages but after 3SS i watched only 20 cars...
Matt is not 2s/km slower than SWRC drivers...Quote:

McCormack won the Formula 2 class in his DS3, only 19secs ahead of Korhonen in a Ford Fiesta. The Formula 2 will be the main class next year, I guess that's why these cars get the lowest nr's :) Looking forward to the MotorsTV program :)
Must be happy by the performance of Jukka Korhonen in his first foreign event. He won his class (R2) in front of Craig Breen and was also awarded as Pirelli Star Driver.Quote:

Now is official: Vaclav Pech will compete with Mitsubishi Lancer R4, Slovenian Champion Aleks Humar will not be present, as he fell from bicycle and hurt his back. His koda Fabia S2000 (or should I say from Target Motorsport) will be driven by Italian Piero Longhi in Saturnus and Rally Croatia.
www.rally-saturnus.si
What rally are you talking about? Where will Pech and Longhi compete? Do you mean the ERC Croatia Rally?
Pech and Longhi will compete in rally Saturnus (Slovenia), Longhi is supposted to compete in rally Croatia (ERC) too.
Yes, it's an interesting group of sponsors that Donchev has this year - Greek cell phones (Globul), German oils (Mabanol) and Polish transportation/logistics (Desy). Donchev's program for this year is Bulgarian championship. Next year he wants to compete in ERC. Good luck!Quote:
