What' the problem with SS5 and 6 BP Rallye Lavanttal ??? No results yet :confused:

Edit: I found the answer..."Netzproblemen" meaning problems with connexion on Internet for the live results webpage :mark:

tommorow is the first round of the redesigned Greek Rally championship.

http://www.lav.gr/filippos.htm click on the 1st grey leters links below the yellow ones to see the entry list, which is ok given the circumstances...the rally has 4 tarmac stages. live results here http://www.ethea-live.gr/ click on the 3rd thin red band on the top and pray they work correctly.

yes...but the favourites are Lampros kyrkos if it rains (prediction is for light rain but it could be wrong)....Spanos is nothing from those at the top. Last year Christoforos won in the ancient golf II. Gerodimos also might have a chance with the monster golf kit car but its his first rally with it and he never had experience with a proper rally car before (Honda Type R N3 last year).

Its going to be a roullette rally...i think we might have a few not so big surprises.....i will attend the event and will report back.

Lampros Kirkos is first after SS1!!! Second is Constantinos Halivelakis-Peugeot 206 S1600 (+17.83), 3rd Zahos (+23.81) 4th Gerodimos (+27.19), 5th Pazonen (+27.64), 6th Konstantinidis-Citroen ZX Kit Car (+28.05) 7th Christoforos (+30.18) 8th Kosmopoulos (+30.92) . Puncture for the DS3 R3 and Nikos Pavlidis. Lost around 10 min.

The rally is over Kyrkos as expected won and Halivelakis was 2nd, the 3rd place went to christoforos by 0.19 seconds !!!! Zachos did a magnifiscent 2nd best time on the final ss (just .2sec off kyrkos 1st place) but wasn't enough....the fight was between christoforos (local and last years winner) Zachos (renault clio A7) and Gerodimos (Golf kit Car A7) before the last stage the difference between the 3 was 4 seconds.

Some news/rumours from Finnish Rally Championship few weeks before summer season starts:
- Championship leaders Salo and Lindroos will upgrade to R4 versions (Evo X and Impreza), but not necessarily ready for the next round in Hämeenlinna (May 14th)
- Kristian Sohlberg will drive Subaru in Hämeenlinna
- Janne Tuohino is said to bought Fiesta S2000
- Matti Rantanen is said to consider a car change for summer rounds, but to what car, no news. He could end up using several makes in the process.

Next round in Hämeenlinna is more of a sprint-type event with four normal SS and one tarmac SSS. Recced in the morning, run in the day, party in the evening kind of deal.

Last two FRC rounds are run in Lapua (June 11th) and Kerava (September 17th). Those two rallies will have an extra class for Vetomies title, Group F race, that some might remember as part of NORF or Lahti Historic ERC from past years.

I thought that Tuohino's S2000 was his Fiesta.

He is regular competitor in Slovak events with C2 R2. He also started in Barum several times.
