Time for another question?
Yeh!
Breeze was basically right so have a go with a question!
I'm up for that. Its been a busy couple of days, but I hope to have a call in to Edgar the 'globe trotting bon vivant' Crow for a good story.
Sorry friends, no story from Edgar. Just a bunch of numbers. He said you guys would know what to make of them. ;)
47 56 59.49
00 04 27.08
29 11 15.53
-81 04 22.13
43 44 03.75
07 25 16.89
39 47 35.31
-86 14 19.90
Is that Edgar's credit cards numbers? :p
Well, I guess those look like lat/lon pairs. no lons beyond +/- 90 though, which is curious.
Shall we enter these numbers into Google Earth to find a common theme? (ie is that allowed here?)
Well, looking at a map, those points correspond to:
LeMans
Daytona
Monaco
Indianapolis
I suspect that's what you are looking for.
(Edgar needs to get out more :)
So therefore they are all Racing Tracks!
Well that was just TOO easy for a savant like edv! :p : What's more, its on the start/finish line of those famous tracks!Quote:

There are many projects ongoing to recover and restore this highway, especially as it holds such great nostalgia for retiring babyboomers, but mainly for its historical and cultural significance.
Anyway, the question is this:
Regarding Route 66:
1) In what city does it start (easternmost point)?
2) At what famous landmark does it end (westernmost point)?
3) How many states does it pass through? (Name them if you can!)
