Loeb isnt faster from Neuville,Neuville will play all for his drivers title=big risk to dont finish/punctures etc.
So Loeb probably will drive to collect the manufacture points.

Toyota will have 1 car dirtier road than Loeb/Nueville if that cleaning effect exist on that stage

Problems for Ogier...

Deliberately pulling over and stopping to alter your road position within in a live stage doesn't sit right with me. Shouldn't be allowed.

He is on medium tires and plans to crawl through stage, on such a long stage leaving Loeb in his dust would have been quaranteed. Now question is who is this unlucky one who gets his dust...

I mean its a rough Rally but cars are too weak, they are not built for this.

The cars aren't too weak, probably stronger than all previous generations. Drivers have to adapt. In Acropolis Rally the number of punctures and retirements was quite similar I think.

Tänak is gonna have a real hurry to regroup timing

Guys, I don't know the rules in such detail but if Ogier needs now a total engine replacement would it bring him any penalty also for the next event?

This is where Rally 2 is unfair - if you retire on day one or day two you can come back and fight on for points and the PS. But retire on day three you get nothing for all your effort.

Shouldn't, provided they have engine slots left (given how few rallies we've had, that almost guaranteed certainty).

17.2.3
When a car does not finish the Power Stage, an extra engine per car name may be allowed without incurring a penalty. No more than one extra engine per car name and per season may be sealed without incurring any penalty.

They want to be late imo

1. Evans : 70 + 25 = 95

2. Ogier : 79 + 0 = 79 (- 16)

3. Tänak : 66 + 0 = 66 (- 29)

4. Rovanpera : 55 + 10 = 65 (- 30)

5. Neuville : 42 + 18 = 60 (- 35)



1. Toyota : 137 + 25 + 12 = 174

2. Hyundai : 132 + 18 + 15 = 165 (- 9)
