Why someone would feel the need to include a political message before a recce video ??

Some little things from last two pages which stroke my eyes...
Hyundai preferes to use halogen light ramp instead of more and more popular LED lamps. Pity we don't have any specification to compare (like great graphs for R5 LED Lazer lamps).
In the photos of Yaris and C3 without rear wheels it's clearly visible that there is an air duct for cooling of rear brakes in Citroën while there is none visible in the Yaris (maybe not installed yet?).
Stage 3/6 even more snow:

i do not care about the recce, we need more francois asselineau please, i think new levels of autism have been reached by the guy who produced this video.
Lolzzz
Looks better with the right livery. ;)

Craig Breen: 'So I guess this will be a proper Monte then! Awesome conditions during the first two days of recce. Bone dry tarmac to -13 degrees and full snow!'
Is the parking for the shakedown on the main road parelell to the stage or can you access junctions as normal
I'm sorry if this question has been asked already, but will it be possible to see some footage from Monte on TV? If so - where? Is that true that there will be no live stages like last year?
When is shakedown?
16.00 local time today
Any fresh pictures from the shakedown stage? Anyone?
Stage is probably tarmac, but with some icy patches, as studded tyres have been allowed by COC Communication n°4 yesterday evening:
7.12 Due to bad weather conditions, studded tyres are authorised during Shakedown
http://acm.mc/wp-content/uploads/201...-N%C2%B042.pdf
Report from yesterday: lots of ice patches between 1,5 and 3km.
We could see the crews testing the different tyre options to get a feel what they can expect this weekend.
Who cares if the guy is selling his political candidate or a brand new deodorant?!? These videos are great fun to watch and an easy way for fans around the world to get to know MC fantastic stages. It'd be great to have similar videos from other WRC events.
Btw, apparently this one was taken for '16 MC but it looks an hollywood frantic thriller...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIatGvWPpks

Real shame that he didn't get a drive this year, at least at Monte.
I do miss his flamboyant and flatout driving style

Yes, I remember this rule being applied at least for 8 years now but it never happened that so many cars survived till the last leg.

ES 10-12: D148 and D48 dry except the winding part uphill, between Le Sarret and Savournon composed of melting snow rails.
Descent of the Col de Faye well icy with tendency to improve towards the final dry.

Any information about what the conditions are like for ss1 as things stand?

Purely based on weather observations, I would tell that its should be mostly dry with a little snow on the side of the road in some sections. Tomorrow it will be 3-4 plus degrees around there and during the stage it should be between -3..-4 degrees, maybe slight chanche of patchy black ice
Am I the only one who can't find shakedown times on ewrc-results.com all of a sudden?
I am aware that shakedown has not started yet but I was still expecting the section to be there.
Am I correct in thinking that exact Ogier photo is the one that Col Clarke has posted on twitter? if not, it's very similar!
