It's 3MO gearbox in PSA R5s
Even with minimum of foreign drivers there are several tight battles which will last till the last kilometer.
Now 10 seconds penalty for Casier appeared on the event website but it's not yet anywhere else...
Really nice battle between Verschueren, Casier and Kobus on the last loop! What happen to Verschueren on last stage?
He spun.
Ok, part of the game.
He was also quite sick, so cannot follow the pace of others
Classic Loix win.
Even when outsiders come to challenge him, he knows the rally so well and lets them make the mistakes or break their cars.
11 wins in the last 20 years.
her co-driver has no reason to be worried, she drives no faster than reconnaissance speed.
she should have learned to drive a car before competing in the european championship. she's not just slow, it is unbelievably ridiculously slow.
the first time we saw her she never shifted gears, we thought she was stuck in gear. she wasn't.
the second time we saw her she was so slow through the corners we thought she had a serious engine problem, she hadn't.
i've seem a lot of slow rich kids through the years, but never something as embarrassing as this.
Congratulations to F.Loix.....I've nothing to add.....

Anyone know why the Eurosport coverage was so on-board heavy this year? Didn't look like they had a helicopter up all weekend? Quite one-dimensional pictures I thought - I was quite disappointed.

Eurosport doesn't care about the ERC anymore, there only interest is to take the fee from the organizers and produce below par coverage.
Slightly half hearted coverage - who'd have thought it. Ypres and the ERC deserve much better.
Also the onboard footage was often shaky and the static cameras were placed in quite boring places (I watched only leg 2). It didn't impress me at all.
So, what is the point in having a series promoter if they don't want to do their job? Because as far as I'm concerned, that is what Eurosport, the promoter should be doing, not the event organiser.
Why did they even bid for the ERC if they only do the bare minimum? I just find it so disappointing.
Yep, the coverage this weekend was disappointing.
Go and check out the WRC2 videos on the official WRC Youtube channel for comparison: https://www.youtube.com/user/wrc/videos
Congratulations to Fast Freddy for winning the rally!

And congratulations to Lefebvre for winning Colin McRae Flat Out Trophy (but he deserved much more).

This time I can judge only from videos but for example from this one I agree with You: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgZ2TOkNrkM
I think you can see this place in this video at 1:32 :

The best thing about the ES coverage was at least the commentator shut up during the onboards. Much better to hear the cars. I quite liked the bumper-cam as well for the sense of speed.
Fan videos are really where we get the best images these days.

He didn't start at the correct time (at 00 in a minute), usually some seconds earlier/later. Only people from timekeeping and people from Hyundai can tell. Anyway I have serious doubts about this car, nothing had to comply with any homologation, so they can use the car they want, in terms of pop-off, restrictor etc they can actually do whatever they want. They say it's an R5, but who will tell? Maybe the 208 T16 Meeke used in Ypres some years ago is faster than the homologated version now... ;) Anyway in terms of chassis/suspension it looks like a very stable car, good base.
Why would Hyundai run a noncomplying car? They seem quite happy.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...1ddb132380.jpg
Well if it was the WRC where they don't plan to sell their car, I would believe it but in customer segments I would be less inclined to belive it.
