22,4 sec for 39 km now. Seems Paddon he can do it
:)....awesome
So now there´s not misadvantage going first on the road? Only when Ogier runs first?
Paddon says the i20 #WRC has stalled it in a pair of forks. Bad time to engine failure.
Camilli did surprisingly nice time.:) He might get to the 7th place yet...
Sun 09:56 - SS16: Paddon
He completes 7.4sec slower than Ogier. His rally lead now 22.4sec. "A terrible stage. Conditions are absolutely incredible and the engine stalled a couple of times when we were braking for hairpins. Once it took me five seconds to restart. It's something we'll have to work around.
and without anyone noticing, Neuville has climbed up to 6th...good manufacturer points if both he and Sordo can keep it on the road, and on that note, let's hope Paddon finishes the rally 1st...
Yes but in my experience police always overestimate everything by at least 2x..:uhoh:
And they are men and we almost always also overestimate the size of things...
:bigcry:
So even accounting for these well known rigid facts, say there's 10,000 in one stage far away and up in the mountains---that's pretty crazy.
N'ext pas?
http://www.autosport.com/news/report...-running-order has anyone heard about this?
Capito's quote cracks me up, suggesting that Ogier 'gets asked about one issue all day' instead of Ogier being the one that brings it up at the end of every single stage.
If the report is true (coming from Autosport you can't be too sure) then Paddon is probably just sick of the constant whining. It should be fairly well known that most Kiwis don't like whinges. ;)
DMack: Today is the end of an era, last WRC rally on our Chinese made tyres. From Portugal our tyres will be built in UK. :)
It is true
so the underpowered and undeveloped fiesta with Dmacks win stages with Tanak, when Ogier and Paddon fight for the win.
Ah i forget that was 1st on road too.
“A terrible stage,” said Paddon. “Conditions are incredible and I couldn’t see anything at the top. Twice the car went into neutral when I changed down to first gear in hairpins and I had to reset before continuing. Now we’re aware of it, we’ll have to deal with it.”
Visibility changed constantly in the strong winds but Ogier, starting just three minutes earlier than Paddon was similarly affected in his Volkswagen Polo R.
Evans also setting great stage times in WRC2..
we dont know ''how much less'' fog had Tanak.Probably yes he had. But we saw from other stages too this weekend, that fiesta isnt underpowered nor undeveloped with Tanaks times at some stages. Was very near the top guys when they were fighting, and not cruising. All these with Dmacks...
Fiesta is crap, Tanak is the main difference.
yes it is, otherwise Ostberg would have good times as well not only tanak.
Next stage is on.
Camilli up at Split 1 ?!
Yep, seems like he's getting confident and pushing for 7th place. I wonder if he crashes.:-D
Mads is up now at Split 1 - 3.6s !
EDIT - All splits getting faster and faster...
Ogier flying !!
He will try, apparently. (Ogier that is)
Only Ogier and Paddon have something to fight for. The rest is pretty much in cruise mode.
Wow -8,4 sec at 1st split Ogier from Paddon. Dogfight is on. Brace yourselves guys!!
