man, i just said that '' he could fight for the championship''
didn t said that he would beat him.Of course Ogier is the man to beat.

If IFs and BUTs were pots and pans, everyone would be scrap metal merchants...
he is better in the second half because he has no pressure... it is always like that with kids they are good with fun and games but not that good when they have hot coals in their pockets...
For once that I couldn't watch the power stage this happens, damn! Anywhere I can watch it again? Congratulations to Mikkelsen, finally his first win. Congratulations also to Nasser (if Kremer would have passed him on final stage, the championship would still be open? Such a shame) and Aasen.
As one guy from our Czech forum pointed out we have now a first season since 2002 when two or more drivers made their maiden victories. This year it was Kris Meeke and Andreas Mikkelsen, 13 years a go it was two icons - Sebastien Loeb and Petter Solberg...
A few photos from today. Did only 2 stages, twice the short one this morning. some long flat-out section before they arrived, then a right corner (flat out for the fastest), then the road bends left into braking for a slower right corner with a big cut. After a few cars the dust/gravel started getting on the road which meant a lot of fun. Ptaszek (Fiesta R2T) did a big crash there, he was braking way too late and went straight. Spectators were quite lucky, if the wall would have been half a meter lower the car would have rolled onto it I think... All in all a great event, going to try to come back sometime. :) I wouldn't mind if it would be a complete asphalt rally.

dimvii: where you take this pictures with results? its tottaly wrong, JML take 18 for o/a and 2 from PS in Spain. Ogier win in Australia o/a and PS, thats mean 28point not 21 lika in a pictures. All points from pictures are non-sense, or not from this season
Yes but he is far from being a "kid good with fun and games". Very few people would be there where he is, still capable of battling with Ogier, after so many years of troubles and strong rivals like the two Sebs. We all have seen people in rally and not only fall down after 2-3 years of rivaltry against the bests, they just could handle their pinnacle. But he is still there. Something not common and to be praised of in my opinion.
i do not see any battle with Ogier all these years... he can battle for some stages and maybe a day or two but many people can do that...
when Latvala was second in the championship everyone who got it that season had their easiest championship in their lifetime both Loeb and Ogier.
Seems to me too much extreme. At a championship level you are right, but they don't fight only for stages like you said.
Ogier had to took risks and felt the pressure from him for entire rallys in the last two years. Who else did it? Only Mikkelsen in Sweden this year.

ogier will start to dislike asphalt. only 2 out of 7 retirements in the last 3 years were on gravel.

Thought i should celebrate the Norwegian victory today by editing a video of the 4 events I've been to with Andreas, the video with footage from all the way back to the Rally Norway candidate event in 2006 will have to wait until his overall win ;)

"It was a long left turn, twice," said the driver. "This morning on the first pass, I had corrected the note because the exit of turn was faster than what we had originally noted. The problem is that I am also entered quickly in the first round . The car was deported, the trajectory has grown 10 centimeters too and this is the rail that stopped us anywhere. "
"It's a bit stupid mistake because we had won the race. It was one day that we managed our lead and I wanted to enjoy myself by attacking in the last special. I played and I lost. I accept full responsibility and the consequences which fortunately are not too serious. The key is that Julien and I are safe, and I want to thank all the hospital care teams their care. "
"I'm sorry for Volkswagen, which has once again done a great job. It is important for me to know that the team is still rewarded with an excellent result, thanks to this doubled my teammates."

yeah shame I hadn't had a bit more belief and also pickems wise... I hope all the time that the stranglehold of Ogier & VW will end.. and this time I think for the first time this season, Ogier made a mistake. Honestly though I hope Latvala & Mikkelsen will move away from the VW camp to Toyota soon enough to kick the Ass out of that Polo R WRC & Jost Capito.
Oh Noez!
Ogier admits he's done in WRC..making stupid mistakes
The rally won and a safe lead, the SS won, the WRC crown won..Quote:
"It's a bit stupid mistake because we had won the race. It was one day that we managed our lead and I wanted to enjoy myself by attacking in the last special. I played and I lost.

And he still makes stupid misttakes..and admits it!
I think we should start a Wilson Jr/Petter Solberg/Sordo/Kubica/Hirvonen type thread "Is he really washed up?" or "Can't even control himself from gambling, Ogier career over"
thread.
Burnt out.
NOT good for anything...:bigcry:
There was one thing that confused me this sunday... why would Hyundai gain from Paddon taking a penalty and how would that elevate neuville?
I really don't understand how taking road penalties would work in Hyundais favor :S
