So last night the gap between the two VW's was +2.6. Now it's +3.0. Very tight at the top.
All Meeke can do is manage the gap to Mads and hope for a mistake ahead of him.

Jari-Matti and his co-driver are analyse the drive. "Before the stage Miikka told me to try and keep it inside the corners, but I felt I was too sideways."
See? Today Jari-Matti is more nose end first and doesn't want to drive sideways like he did in Poland. ;)

Yes off course... His lack of pace has nothing at all to do with driving, its all about diffs, tyres, dampers, chassis, etc etc.
And the reason the inexperienced Paddon is so much faster is that he did not attend the team meeting where Neuville told Hyundai how slow their WRC car is, and all the team nodded in agreement, so Paddon is unaware of how slow the car is.
As soon as Paddon gets this memo, he will find his place and be slower than Neuville... Allraighty then?!?
Neuville was on form in the second part of 2013. But has since driven with his shoulders above his ears, and have compensated for the lack of speed by attacking even more, which has made him even slower.
Neuville is a great talent, and has the potential of taking on Ogier, but then someone needs to tell him why he was so fast in 2013, and it was not by driving as he does now.
We retire 12 km from the service. Not allowed to drive on the rim. At least we tried our best! Thanks @MSportLtd

Brynhildsen? Noo, thats shit.
Somebody said that Ogier shouldn' complain about road position issues. This is utterly wrong. As far the sport is interrupted with artificial and unsporty rules like this I will support Ogier's complaint. In Loeb's era the rule was more human as the leading championship driver had to drive first on the road only one day (except 1-2 seasons).
I think also Latvala would like to win under clear conditions. He can do it and it's pity if his potentially well earned win will loose its value by this issue.
Neuville engine troubles, Sordo went off, but continuing now (lost 5min)

Proper rain and standing water in SS16... Interesting!
Meeke stopped?!

So Meeke out????!!!! F***in' hell
JML 3.3s faster :)
Meeke has a broken front left wheel ...
Meeke out with broken suspension. His future is officially off now I think.
Was Mads driving the whole stage in road mode or just part of it? Thierry's car sounds terrible.
Damn! Matton won't be happy!!
Neuville 'It's smells like fuel, but I don't know what's wrong. It's getting worse and worse [the car].
Meeke has great raw speed, but lacks in concentration. I'd love to see him stay at Citroen, but I don't think he will.
Hold it together JML
Think the opinions that he is to be replaced by skoda-ista are a tad premature. If anything it is Mikkelsen who should look to his laurels. Best car, but still nowhere near Ogier or Latvala on pace and prone (as here) to prangs when pushing. I don't see any major improvement from him.
SS16: OGIER There's a chunk missing from one of his wheels. "It happened near the beginning of the stage. I was on the edge of the road, near a ditch, and we hit a rock. I thought we might have a puncture so I backed off. It was okay but not the best time."
