According to Rally Radio also some Problems with Breen´s car, service will tell.
Todyas Latvian Rally Championship leader (Timmu Kõrge) also just retired due to the engine problems. Looks like later starters are fast today, he was 14 seconds faster than Lukyanuk on previous stage.
Craig Breen is back in business on Rally Liepāja-Ventspils after the problem that struck on stage 12 was traced to a broken wire.
With the fault rectified by his Peugeot Rally Academy-Saintéloc team during the 15-minute remote service halt in Kuldīga, Breen is on his way to the Swecon stage, which runs for a second time at 12:05hrs local time.
“It looks like they’ve solved the problem,” Breen told ERC Rally Radio’s Chris Rawes. “It was a problem with a broken wire, which was obvious when they took the airbox off.”
Breen and co-driver David Moynihan will tackle the final loop of three stages with a new set of Michelin Ice North tyres fitted to their Peugeot 207 Super 2000. The Irishmen are 19.5s adrift of leading Finns Jari Ketomaa and Kaj Lindström on round two of the FIA European Rally Championship.
Go Craig !! :bounce:
Cerny also excellent pace at ''bad'' pirelli tyres
Lukyanuk seems wants back 3rd overall from Delecour
I have been quite impressed by Cerny too. Can someone remind me, is he doing full ERC this year?Quote:

Just watched last nights leg1/2 review from Eurosport. Some very nice footage and good positioning of the onboard cameras of Breen and Delecour. Would have liked to have seen a bit more of the other competitiors. Pleased to hear Andrew Coley commentating too. They should use him all the time.
'Lukas' stopped. Engine...
FIA ERC @FIAERC BREAKING NEWS : Lukyanuk went off the road a few kilometers before the end of the stage, reports @Craig_Breen #FIAERC
Looks like it's Ketomaa's rally now unless he does a Latvala on the city stage. Good fight from Breen though.
pitty for Lukas!!
Cerny also was on used tyres yesterday afternoonQuote:

Nice stage win for Cerny. Congrats to Ketomaa and other podium finishers. Predictable results but looked like a nice rally. Really looking forward to Canarias now where we should have a better entry list, but it's a long wait!
Congrats to winners overall winners Jari / Kajtsu and 2WD category Risto / Mikko.

Bit off topic, but from watching Breens incar I see he has something written in felt pen or in black ink at the top of each page of his notes. I have seen it on Ypres incar too, are the organisers marking notes? Or is that the manufacturers of the pacenote books symbol?
It's the logo of Daniel Elena's company All Sports Management of which the pacenote book is manufactured by. :)Quote:

I'm sure he has hardly driven on snow/ice/gravel before and to challenge an experienced Finn on this surface is amazing...
As he says: "We're absolutely chuffed, this is what we came to do and even to challenge for the victory...we're just getting going."
The future's bright... the future's Breen ! :burnout:
Ah thanks you. Reasonable price too!Quote:
