Looks really good, crazy excited about this game :)
Jojje
Car games like this one I use the camera view of the whole car on the stage... I will have to get use to it.. Unless settings can be changed but I like it so far! Have to get use to it as I played WRC2 right after and it's totally different! (I don't do inside camera angle when driving - I like to see road ahead)
I like that the graphics are excellent! You can see the tree reflection on the roofs and side of cars!! :D
And seriously, Spain in this game is amazing. I seriously again, cannot wait or NZ!! Imagine,,,, actual flowing roads where the car will bounce from camber to camber!!!!! =O
can i play it with a laptop and if yes what specs do i have?
PC requirements have not been announced yet spyros, but I doubt you will enjoy the game on a laptop...Quote:

Played the demo a few times now and ive got to say im enjoying it.
The graphics, lighting and enviroments are a huge improvement and actually feel natural. Not like in WRC 2 where countries like Finland and Spain are so dull.
The sound still isnt right though. The co-driver is an improvement, but still makes stupid comments and misses the pace notes for th next couple corners. Car wise Its better but the cars dont sound natural and having been to the Acorpolis and Rally GB this year can deffinetely say they dont pop and bang anything like in the game.
Handling is better, though I do find it odd that the car slides more on tarmac than it does on gravel. I will reserve further judgment until I get the game and can make some setup changes.
Allyc85: I totaly agree!
Hey pin, when do we get to see Sandell's car?
No reply from Sebastien yet, as for Sandell's car, I didn't post any photo as I am not sure it's allowed...not to mention that I don't get why you want me to post that photo :confused:Quote:

Here's a huge WRC3 blowout content from Alan Boiston and VVV!
Watch the first part, and follow the links towards the end to watch all rallies!!!

Loving the Mexico stage he has released together with one stage from all rallies! Narrow and very interesting, definitly the best I have seen so far. Sadly I hear the car sound hasn't been improved. I am sorry, but the Fiesta does NOT sound like that. Considering the fact that Milestone have said they have "recorded" car sounds properly this time, I am disappointed that they haven't made more of it. I am positive the car sound of the Fiesta isn't a record - maybe only when the car is at a standstill.
Bennizw: regarding to the sound, exactly my point!!
Lcd: You're great!! :) thanks for this link!!! I have very much look forward to this! I will watch this later this evening when it's nice and queit at home! ;)
Thanks!
Got to say the rear spoiler on the Fiesta WRC looks absolutely hilarious. Who ever modelled that needs shooting! It's much wider and taller than what it is in real life. Can't believe they've had the WRC licence extended. It's embarassing.
Is a spoiler a big issue for you ? :s ;)Quote:

p.s It's far from embarrassing.
I'v seen all the videos now and I would like to say this...
Milestone should have a 1th price for this game - It looks really really good as for graphics!! It's a really big step up! They HAVE listnen to some of the fans and it seems that they have read a lot in forums like this for example.
One thing is the "start clock". I write a very early message on TeamVVV :s youtube site about this when the wrc 3 videos had the "old" start clock. I wrote that Milestone shold us a real lifelike on and it should countdown from 10. It took a few weeks or one or two month, then had Milestone change this little thing! :) :) It seems like they had read that and took the message with them! ;)
That's great Milestone! Lovely! Like it should be!! Thanks!
The physics looks to be good, not perfect but really ok! And that's ok for me because I see that Milestone is working there way up on all things for the future!!
Is there someone in here who knows if Milestone really is looking in this forum and read the things we talk about??
If it's like that then we should start a WRC 4 "forum" later this year to discuss the things we would like to be done in that game and more? Are you agree? :)
I cant wait for this game now, the car sound is the only thing i'm a little sad about but I hope it will be better in the upcomming games!
Thanks to TeamVVV and the guy in the videos, you're great!
Watched a couple videos of the stages and they are looking better. But seriously where are the jumps in Finland? You know, the things the countries rallys are famous for?!
Yes, they are ;)Quote:

That's good to hear, then we know that they see what we "want" to see in the game in future, like in WRC 4.
It's good to have a "channel" to communicate in...
Allyc:
I understand what you say and I think the same, it's sad that Finland not have the hills and jumps as in real life BUT im not angry about it because someone sad - I think that I'v heard that from a reporter who had talk with Milestone, that this year they had created "some new" rallys like NZ and Mexico BUT that they for next year is plannibg to remodell all of the rallys completly with satelite fotos and more to do the stages really real! I hope that I'v heard right! :) Milestone has done the wrc 3 game really good and stept up really well but I agree that this game is "far" from perfect! Still this game is going to be really good, the best rallygame in years I think!
But for WRC 4 they need to step up even further and I hope and think that they know it and feel the same!
For example they need to rewrite rally sweden, rally finland, and the others, create a real car sound, but all the small details in real rally stages together in the game and develop more sound setups and all of the setups, keep on going to create even better physics and all of this to step away from codemasters and other developers... This is going to be a REAL rallygame/games. DIRT series is not....
Well said Astro! No news about support for clutch and h-shift gearing yet? I have asked both Milestone and Team VVV, but not recieved an answer...

Mental lap! How on earth does he have such stability at pace on the tarmac. If I so much as touch the steering while flat out on the tarmac it just starts pendulum-ing and I spin. On the gravel section I counted I was between 3s-4s off which means I'm about 17s off on the tarmac! Crazy.
Yeah I can't understand why he's so stable on the tarmac. Also he seems to cut corners on the grass, if I do that the wheels spin and the car slows down dramatically.
Maybe there's a way to decrease the sensitivity the analogue stick? Would certainly help me. Same problem as you Jan for the cutting - touch the grass and that's a second lost!
Have to say, tried WRC 2 again today, and yes, WRC 3 is a good step up. Much better graphics, more reliable physics and improved sounds. Looking forward to getting hold of the full version!
Bennizw: I agree, WRC and WRC 2 sucks BIG TIME!
WRC 3 is a very big step up and I'm very happy for Milestone and the guys behaind this. I'm very much looking forward to 12th Oktober! :p
I have now look at all the videos from Alan - TeamVVV, and I must say that the new rallys Milestone have created for WRC 3 like Mexico, Monte carlo, NZ and maby some more rally looks absolutly beatiful!! Very very good looking nature and stages!! Really good!!! I cant really say that too much! So I really wait for WRC 4, when Milestone (I hope) have created "new" rallys for every country in the WRC. Really hope they do! Because one thing is sure, when they put their mind to it, then they can create some really good rally stages!! :)
One small thing I wanted they to do in this game was much much more spectators and marshalls all over the stages. Now in the videos I'v seen, it feels like a test stage.. Not a wrc stage sadly.
But this game will be cool but they have to put all the small details together in WRC 4 and absolutly create new graphics/stages for the other countrys! Lovely!! ;)
Very much agreed! But, bigger crowds and many marshalls on the stages, unfortunately dramatically affect game's performance.Quote:

If Milestone can solve this tech problem In WRC4, you can be sure, they will add lots of people around all haipins waithing for the car to come.
Lcd: Okey! That I didnt know.. Then I understand but I would love that if they could make it happend! But I understand why know! Thanks
No it's not a deal breaker, you just expect a company with the license to produce the official WRC game to be able to model accurate looking WRC cars.Quote:

P.S I won't bother you lot on this thread after this post, so have fun with your arcade racer.
Sorry you feel that way. No big deal actually here...Quote:

306 cosworth: :) you can't say that wrc 3 is going to be a ****ty rallygame/sim and that the new built rallys in this game is badly done from Milestone, that the stages in for example Mexico, NZ and Spain not look like that at all in real life!?
Then I wounder if you have seen a WRC event in real life???
Mexico and spain and nz is great! Milestone can absolutly do even more for the realism but it kills games like that rent a rally game - Dirt.
Wrc 3 will be great but wrc 4 must in future be much better to retire RBR for example...
I love rbr but it's ONLY for the sound, physics and the small details in that game who make me feel the true sport as if I was compete as I do in real life. Rbr do not have good graphics any more, it sucks.
Rbr is not perfect either...
Wrc 3 will place it self on a second place behaind rbr but i personally think that wrc 4 will take over the first place from rbr. I hope and it seems like Milestone is aiming for that when I look at this big step up!
It's so many "rallyfans" who only play Dirt and more of them ****ty games and loves Ken Block and his stunts and think - thats rally..
Noo no no no!! It's not!
But I understand that you are angry about sound and some more that Milestone not sadly have bern taking care of but it's a really BIG step up and we can't no longer compere this with the last two - not so good games! ;)
