Your Turn.
Hey gang!
I appear to be having problems with my browser, when I hit "manage attachments", nothing happens, so I'm having problems attaching a photo. If someone else wants to go, while I sort this out, that would be great.
Thanks!
AM :)
Got it taken care of!

Right! That's really good. I was hoping to stump the band with this one, but that's it. The "Kansas City Flash" tested the car for Thompson.Quote:

Masten Gregory fascinated me since I read that he was born on February 29 (i.e. he was one of those rare people celebrating their birthday once every 4 years). New pic right away!
Double or nothing:

I'm not sure about the track, so don't bother.
Teo Fabi and Derek Daly in March 83c's in 1983- I am thinking Phoenix...
 Yes, it's them!
The caption says something about Fabi becoming at Pocono the first European driver to win a track 500 since Graham Hill, but it doesn't mention the location. I'm thinking about Phoenix Speedway too. Your turn!
Derek only ran one oval in 1983, Phoenix. It looks like an oval to me, so Phoenix is probably it.
ok, here's a way back machine entry - don't check out the properities or you'll spoil the fun :)

Clearly a screen capture from a racing sim. It would have been appropriate and neat if it was a Champ Car, though.Quote:

oh yes - now I remember - this is the one that had the wrong year on the picture from the source... oh well, we are bound to repeat things now and again!
Bob - if you have another one, go ahead and post again - if not I'll throw something up later....
i've not got another one to throw up at the moment, so feel free to post one later.

The track is Phoenix, they had this white armco between the walls around the early 80s

He did not start this race.
Phoenix has it - the photo is from a Machinists promotional 8x10 so I am assuming it was actually a photo shoot - but I do not know for sure...
