My apologies, the car kenny used at the weekend is the ex- mike bird car X40 SRT (X7 SRT) and not nicks and mike bird must have bought nicks car and traded in his own , which doesnt make sense as they are bothe s7 spec? unless some one is playing with number plates??
Anyone shed any light on it?

As for pre event prep then yes there is lots to do and check, even if you are only doing 1 day rallys. Morgan Motorsport reckon on 45 hours re-prep for each event. I know that sounds a lot (and is) but it is probably a days labour to wash it after a forest event before you start (underguards, wings and bumpers off before you start washing it!).

Was Petter Solberg's 2002 Rally of Great Britain winning car an 2001 or 2002 car. According to the listings shown in post 176 of this thread, the chassis is 01016.
