I can say for sure that there is going to be some wind :D
I'm not so sure... If you check ewrc they don't seem to have much more problems than the Skoda and the Fiesta.
There is for instance one in sweden that usually runs reliably. Uccis has almost never had a problem etc etc.
I am pretty sure that the problematic ones are those that aren't upgraded to latest spec.
Princen's one was the very first Evo one and it hasn't run flawless so far. Also I heard they had plenty of problems also in testing. Let's see in Ypres.
I meant pre Evo, with the homologated joker parts.
Can't say much about the Evo as there are too few in existence. Time will tell.
Am I being mean? In the last 3 seasons Peugeot 208 R5 managed to win just 4 ERC rounds out ouf 25. And the last win was over 1 year ago when Craig Breen was fastest in the 2015 Azores Rally.
Let's take a quick look at the statistics - number of wins:
ERC 2016
-----------
Ford Fiesta R5 - 2 wins
Skoda Fabia R5 - 1 win
Citroen DS3 R5 - 1 win
Peugeot 208 R5 - 0 wins
ERC 2015
-----------
Ford Fiesta R5 - 4 wins
Peugeot 208 R5 - 3 wins
Skoda Fabia R5 - 2 wins
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X - 1 win
ERC 2014
-----------
Ford Fiesta RRC - 4 wins
Škoda Fabia S2000 - 4 wins
Ford Fiesta R5 - 1 win
Peugeot 208 R5 - 1 win
Mini John Cooper Works S2000 - 1 win
Don't get me wrong, I like Peugeot 208 T16, but numbers don't lie...
Well that escalated quickly:
So who, from the locals, do we think will be ERC registered to compete in qualifying and run at the front?
Maybe some of them:
