They did it for a lot of years. The slowest drivers with WRC aren't in the top of the list, but after the FIA sanctionned championships.
Last year, you have f.e. Coffey in Germany.

This is not anything new, however I told Mirek this about two hours ago. Maybe you got this from him, and he should tell you my feelings as well.

No kidney for sale. That´s for sure. If team bosses dont see he potential, so be it. And let WRC/ERC live it´s starving life without real drivers in the future.

Man that's a shame. Was looking forward to seeing Emil in Sweden.

Saying he's resorting to crowdfunding is basically akin to a DNS.

I did think it was maybe strange that he wasn't at any of these Dmack Shootouts recently? Not sure if winning the ERC title somehow rules him out? But surely if he's got no money that would have been a great opportunity.

Dmack shootout is only for the drivers of that cup in WRC.

There are no wildcards anymore. Everybody who wants can register into WRC2, no problem if only for one event...

That´s a coincidence then. PM between me and Mirek about that amongst other things today actually. But his homepage had it for months. On FB today? If so his team might be desperate. Ooh I wish we had an another scenario for him.
