The 2009 PPIHC entry was part of Ford’s PR programme to introduce the Fiesta Mk7 in the USA in 2010, thought out by Jost Capito. Therefore, I guess that Ford is also behind the video, to show the Americans moving pics of a tiny but very sportive car. However, just in case Grönholm had won and was able to do a time under the magic 10 minutes mark, as somewhat blue-eyedly bragged before even leaving Europe, it would have been a much bigger event than Vatanen beating Röhrl’s 1987 time by just half a second in 1988…Quote:
