I don't think 2001 had double figures of cars on the grid though did it? Also there were so few that there never really was a midfield battle. I don't think we can many any sort of criticisms like that until we see the relative paces at Media Day and beyond.

2001 did have double figures when you include the Production Class (as it should be). Even then the Production class still had some good drivers in it.

Well looking at the 15 or so that are confirmed, 11 are top quality. I never mind when we have lots of average drivers in the field as long as there are 10 or so good drivers challenging at the front, the average drivers then provide a healthy midfield.

looks like we are getting a load of good drivers but then loads of slower drivers but the grid will be big that what i cant wait for!

hope paul o'neill gets it aswell he deserves it and is a crowd pleaser!

erkut its nice to have another car on the grid but he really did strugle in a car that was so much better in other drivers hands.
