lets get the FACTS.
Delecour(whom i highly respect) till ss 6,the stage where tyres didn t have major role was 2,15 sec behind.Thats a 0,8 sec per km as his best ss times was constantly 7th-8th.Thats a fact,not what i think or what i d like.Today at ss9 was 1,16 sec per km slower.
So me and Martijns, FabraFan, urabus-denoS2000, Barreis and big Pug fan Tom206wrc as you saw we knew very well what did we said,even we didn t laugh as you said.
Of course we couldn t ''know'' that hole skoda works team will make such a mistake at tyre choose some days before as you could.
So as you can see Delecour is no near in terms of speed against today drivers.Only with snow tyres with spikes against intermidiate ones in some 5 cm snow.
So your faith about Delecour has to be about luck,or somebody else mistakes.

Yes, those are the facts, 7-8th places AFTER the crashes of Mikkelsen, H.Solberg and Neuville... However, I'd have expected him further down, even behind Basso and Gardemeister for example...
