I belive this might be the case, if he would be a novice in WRC, but sure a veteran in WRC should be capable to focus on the obvious, and not carry around with him a stupid error from a meaningless super special.

Sure... Maybe he should be - but obviously he was carrying it around as he talked about it on the rally radio by himself - without people even asking him... :)

What interests me more than speculations about his menthal capability, is that someone here on forum said petter claimed that the setup in the actual rally had been changed from what it where after the test, any news on that point? Who changed, and why?

Agree, that's really interesting. First off, did Citroën even have access to the car between the tests and the rally? I mean, it sounded on Petter he had it all in his own hands this year (even if I doubt Citroën would give him that).

If Citroën had the car in some phase between the tests and the rally, it wouldn't surprise me at all...

Thats what i mean, he talk about his own team, and more testing what the works guys gets, this changing of settings sounds wierd really.
The off on the sss was also actually small, so that can not have damaged anything important.

But still nr1 in explanations is Hennings, a few years back, "the car settings was changet during night".

Petter a least had the car in his own workshop from the small rally "finnskogsvalsen" he did som weeks before the Rally Sweden until the acctual Rally Sweden

Then I guess he can't blame anyone else for changing it... His own mechanics? Sounds odd ;)

Citroën changed the engine before the rally, they found some small damage to one of the cylinders, as I understand petter also changed diffs and dampers before the rally but settings should have been the same.

Methinks the problem was that all the testing were done on perfect ice but conditions was wery different in Sweden.

All the Citroens tested in perfect conditions or different from Sweden this year.
