For Monte Carlo, the only one solution when the weather is not sure is the obligation to have some persons standing in the stage to inform the Team until last minute to take up tires. When you have nobody as it, it is necessary to take the telephone number of some dealer in the villages of the stage. It’s never the gravel crews, who pass 2 h 00 before the competitors who can give the las short good informations. Delecours had these persons yesterday and obviously not the others Team. If you don’t do that you take a big risk to lose the Rally. ;)

Look who was 7th in the SS8! (firs now I saw the update...I didn't follow it till the end yesterday) :-o A 2WD!!! Under this conditions!!!!!

And a Twingo R2 10th and even Twingo R1 half a minute faster than Hänninen. They got time to make proper tyre choices I think and perhaps the road cleared for them
