Indeed they are both helping eachother to put the equipment there and give it a good setting to film etc. Goes faster with two, btw they also mostly caring the sponsor logo's that u see on TV. He's indeed not there for safety :p .Quote:

In 2004 or something like that I discussed with one cameraman in Ouninpohja, he told that they work in pairs, he was using the small "ground camera" while the other one was 50 metres away with his shoulder camera taking a different angle. Both of them also set the commercial banners before starting to shoot.
