I was told by Julian porter in Spain that VW did a back to back test with a mini and the polo was 1/ sec per km slower and they have had a few engine failures, but I suppose it's still early daysQuote:

Sordo's first rally on gravel will be on March in Mexico, far away. For developing new parts of the car or whatever, Loeb's work is now more needed than Sordo's. Apart from that, the team needs to adjust the car (seats, pedals, wheel) for the Spanish couple, which takes time.
From Petter Solberg his fanpage on facebook: "Hello everyone.. There seems to be a lot of talk about me retiring via pieces of quotes being compressed in to numerous articles around the web. I wish things moved more quickly, but they do not. Of course my full interest is to be in the WRC and the works seat at M-Sport, but these things take time. We're attempting to figure things out from both sides. IF for some reason nothing happens with this, then I do have other plans, and those plans will have me competing behind the wheel of a race car. Thank you for your concern, and I will keep you updated. I will never stop competing within Motorsports. That's a combination of my passion, and your support!"
That’s hard to believe. It would mean in a rally with 350 km of SS a difference of 5 min 50 sec.Quote:
