yup he did.. I don´t know what to think about the Devils really. Them has been far from their level at the first games and somehow everything looks so messed up. Even on the win against Habs I was far from impressed. Pretty much thanks to Brodeur the game was theirs.

Rypien got 6 games then and a fine for Canucks. Is it enough or should there been more??

Blues have the Blackhawks today,hopefully them will win that game. Last time their lost and a revenge against an enemy would be nice.

Bruins have to be so glad they couldn't unload Tim Thomas this off-season. 4-0-0 with a .978 save percentage and .750 GAA. I'd love for that to continue; nothing against Rask, but Thomas is such a hard-working, class act who barely even made the NHL. It's so nice to see him be successful and redeem himself after so many were calling him a waste of salary cap space when they had Rask.

They still make Geritol? ...I was thinking Martin was pounding 5-Hour Energy's before the games.

And my Barrie Colts (OHL) are terrible this year after being a top team last year.
Of course that is normal in the OHL as so many players graduated.

Yeah strong starters what weren´t so expected are starting to slip off already a bit. Still its nice to see that some of them actually looks to be in quite a strong form.

What comes to game,Calgary had them beaten up SJ. I wasn´t watching the game but it looks like the Sharks are having serious issues. Somehow specially scoring seems to be hard. Also Nitty has started okey but Niemi seems to be having issues. One year wonder?

Also New Jersey seems to be at the crisis. Big losses and Brodeur really can´t stop all those pucks. Defense have huge issues and some players at the attack really has to step up now.

I can't believe that I would ever say this but I feel sorru for OJ !! The guy has been bashed so bad that I can't remember any player treated like that. So much happening behind the curtains we don't know but still, he ought to de better, that I agree :mark:

Another surprising thing. Antti Niemi is playing like I expected kari Lehtonen to play and vice versa :eek:

As for Finnish goaliws, I think Pekka Rinne is the best and most consistent at the moment. Better than Kipper.

And look at Teemu !!! He is in flames for an old guy ;) So glad he didin't retire, again :D

Actually, if that's the case, he isn't even a one year wonder but merely a one period wonder. He managed to shine when the team struggled and as for the playoffs, he wasn't ashtonishing at all.

But, he was way better than he is now so he should better things up!

I really don't understand how you don't rate Lehtonen. The guy is probably the most talented Finnish goalie ever, he's just had too many injuries and setbacks. If he is in shape, he's better than Kipper etc.

Agreed with his talent. Agreed with the fact he has had injuries. But better than Kipper? Well, now it seems but I can't say Lehtonen is too consistent either.

And why has he had so many injuries. People talk awfully lot but there's no smoke without fire. People say he has been lazy practising and therefore prone to injuries.

Maybe he has learnt his lessons because Starts gave him an opportunity which is seemingly paying off :up:

But I base my statement to what we have seen of him so far and that's not what people, me including, was expecting of him when he entered Atlanta.
