[WRC] News & rumours (part II)

Third car points does not effect for manufacturer championship... So if Loed drives third car in Monte, win's a rally and Sordo is second, Loed gets 25 points for drivers champ, Sordo gets 18 points for driver and 25 points to manufacturer championship... So it's not a big deal who collect points for Citroen...

lol, that'd be funny, but it's not going to happen. It'd be pointless anyway; Loeb could ignore the orders, and the team can't do anything about it.

Citroen already decided to have Mikko #1 for 2013 (at least he will drive all events) so Sordo and Loeb have to be #2´s behind Mikko.

Mikko can be the team leader, this is to be expected, Sordo is to do all rounds too I thought? if he is then IMO Sordo as official #1 even though in reality Mikko is team leader will give the team more points

I don't imagine that Loeb will be entering any event with any intention other than to win, and I'd be equally surprised if the team weren't 100% behind that.

Possible if they´ll do like they´ve done recent years with Loeb. If Loeb becomes tourist next year he would never be looked at as a #1 driver. Not even by Citroen, would he?

Will they not let Mikko be WDC next year after letting us know whom will be lead driver next year?

Logically Per what you say should be true, however this is a French team with a 9 times WDC favoured son - they'll do whatever he wants and Mikko will have to put up with it! Until Loeb disappears forever there will be no true no 1 in that team, but if Citroen are not going to be around much longer it doesn't matter to them.
