Pech out (accident). He was pushing really hard on the videos that i have seen.
Hard work keeping up with those Fabias but he could be really strong in a new Fiesta or Polo maybe..

Pech first spun and lost second position to Mareš. Afterwards he tried to get back but broke wheel.
Are you at the event Mirek?
No, I am not, no time...
Pech likely broke wheel over a hay bale in a chicane.
Some nice onboards from 1st leg (second leg not available yet):

Meanwhile some bad news. Rally Příbram si canceled :(
Another two nice stages which weren't yet posted.
SS11 with Jakeš: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA71kCXUcS0
SS13 with Štajf (this is very spectacular stage): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjvQv3YR_5s (at 1:27 You can see what happened to Pech, he hit the hay bale by right front wheel, broke steering and went off - his traces are nicely visible on the road)
Speaking about Pech, finally something from him (this stage was posted but only from a night run): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42O0MHFa8KY (crazy fast with a massive jump at 3:44)
Yes, chicanes are quite popular in Czech Republic as well as in Poland, where this hilarious video was taken :)

Rally Vyškov (Rallysprint Series) live in half an hour: https://rally-base.com/2019/rally-vyskov-2019/
Not much worth talking about hapened in Rally Vyškov, also the competition wasn't the best.
1. Tarabus (Fabia R5) 40:15,1
2. Odložilík (Fabia R5) +15,0 (5 sec penalty)
3. Vlček (i20 R5) +22,7 (5 sec penalty + spin)
4. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +32,2 (5 sec penalty)
5. Jelínek (Fabia R5) +58,3
6. Trněný (Fiesta R5) +1:19,3 (30 sec penalty)
7. Hanák (Fiesta R5) +2:02,2
8. Riegler (Fiesta R5) +2:15,8 (35 sec penalty)
9. Kurka (Fiesta R5) +2:20,4 (5 sec penalty)
10. Ševčík (Evo IX gr.N) +2:47,5 (5 sec penalty)
With all respect I don't think that people on the international forum are interested in 2WD results of a second league national event.

Kopecký won't start so we can expect a big battle for the victory between Pech, Koči, Mareš, Dohnal, Černý, Jakeš or Grzyb.

Rally Hustopeče live today since 6 p.m.: https://rally-base.com/2019/agrotec-...9/?ssGroupId=1
Ladies and gentlemen... we have a new maiden overall winner in Czech lands. Something very very special :)
Before Rally Hustopeče it was expected that a big battle will rage for the victory because Jan Kopecký is on Sardinia and Václav Pech hasn't been dominating the rest of the field anymore like when he was younger (probably the Fiesta limits him in a certain way as well). It was exactly like that and the rally was overloaded with drama. There were three rally leaders and six stage winners.
The early leader was Černý followed by Grzyb, Koči and Pech. In the second night section Mareš won both stages and got into the lead. Pech lost 40 seconds with broken driveshaft (and two spins out of that), Koči retired behind the finish of the loop due to double puncture (it's not allowed to drive on three wheels on the road section). Grzyb got a 30 second penalty for taking a shortcut on SS1 (see here: https://youtu.be/QszvQOzMuBo?t=222 ). Jakeš broke three concrete poles of a fence but luckily without any functional damage. Therefore after the first leg it was Mareš - Černý +3,5 - Jakeš +30,3.
In the second leg Mareš further extended his lead and took the victory. Černý retired on the very last stage with a broken transmission after a puncture. Jakeš would be therefore second but he also retired but this time behind the finish of the very last stage! He wasn't able to start the engine. He was lucky in the first leg but very unlucky in the end. Pech got a puncture and had to change a wheel. As a result he finished only 10th. Koči restarted to get points for the second leg into the Slovak championship (they give points for each day separately) and won the second leg ahead of Grzyb in Slovak standings.
Final standings look therefore like this:
1. Mareš (Fabia R5) 1:22:56,1
2. Dohnal (Focus WRC) +1:05,8
3. Grzyb (Fabia R5) +1:15,7 (30 sec penalty)
4. Štajf (Polo R5) +1:23,6
5. Odložilík (Fabia R5) +1:36,3
6. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:44,0
7. Březík (Fabia R5) +1:54,1 (5 sec penalty)
8. Vlček (i20 R5) +2:13,8
9. Pospíšilík (Fabia R5) +2:57,2
10. Pech (Fiesta R5) +3:23,0 (broken driveshaft and tyre change on stage)
Jan Talaš (208 R2) easily won 2WD. Stejskal (Clio R3T), who was the closest to Talaš, crashed. Semerád (Adam R2) crashed after he encountered a concrete anti-cut thrown by gr.N car of Hrobský into the middle of the road (see here: https://www.ewrc-results.com/quickp/...18719488_n.jpg ). Strangely somehow seven crews managed to avoid it.

Rally Hustopeče is the most specific and the most spectacular rally in our country and also the onboards are great. Some of them here:
Jakeš SS1 (with a close call for a pheasant): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTJ1i38vNwc
Pech SS2 (with a great jump at 3:35 and near roll at 5:20): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWwZcuXK7CU
Mareš SS8 (not that nice half-circuit stage): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuZ-eMGl7fw
There was one very lucky man in Hustopeče. The driver Braňo Mičko had to undergo a surgery of his left shoulder but fortunately nothing worse happened to him!

Henning Solberg and Jimmy McRae will start on Rally Pačejov!
Henning will use Fiesta R5 which Pech normally uses. Jimmy McRae will drive Opel Manta 400 from the collection of Jiří Jírovec and it's actually ex-Jimmy's car.

Rally Bohemia starts today in the evening with Sosnová SSS. Live results can be found here: https://rally-base.com/2019/rally-bohemia-2019/
It looks like today and tomorrow will be wet while for Sunday the forecast doesn't show any rain for the moment.
your opinion about Kopecky vs Rovanpera?
My bet on Kopecký but Rovanperä is somewhat lucky because more than 1/2 of the route is completely new this year and Kopecký won't have such a big advantage as he would have, had it been all old well known stages.
It's also a home event for Mareš. Not saying he can fight with Kopecký but he shall be fast.
Rovanpera is pretty quick on asphalt these days (check Catalunya times from last year) but Kopecky should still have a home advantage I suppose.
Anyway , good practice/test for Deutschland for both of them.
