Vermaelen scored (finally started playing regularly - mainly due to Pique being red carded) so 1-0 win at home.
Juve lost to Roma now
I was flipping channels and saw the last 10 mins of this one!
where's pino?
BVB have started really strong this season. I doubt they can keep up but I do hope.
Man Utd won't win anything this year either. I used to like the fact that they were never big spenders (compared with other big clubs) but I guess it's really hard to be competitive without throwing ridiculous amounts of money left and right with the likes of Man City, Chelsea, Barcelona and the worst of all, Real Madrid around. They seem to be bad at it however. It looks like they just stumble upon players and buy them without any plan in mind. They have the midfield clogged up while the attack... well, there's no attack at the moment.
Man Utd's transfer strategy has been a complete shambles since Ed Woodward took control. But the Premier League is just a complete joke in general at the moment.
The team that finishes bottom of the EPL will get more money in TV rights revenues than Bayern Munich will, and almost all the English teams are obsessed with spending this money on expensive average players.
United have bought this 19 year old Frenchman I've never heard of for £30+million and sent their own youth academy star, Adnan Januzaj, out on loan. What is this all about?
They splash out millions of pounds without thinking about it because of the ridiculous money that is in the game. £30million is peanuts to Man Utd. They can waste their money and still expect fans to pay £40 for League Cup tickets against Ipswich Town.
Why do the top clubs even bother with youth academies anymore?
So 22m for Pedro was too much and 36m for some unknown isn't? Andy Carroll pt 2.
Maybe the problem was that with Pedro they would have had enough midfielders to make a team only of midfielders. Paying 36m for that guy was a bet but they can afford it.
Andy Carroll was not that young and LIverpool didn't have that much cash back then. Other than that it's completely the same.
Actually, while Man Utd are doing an awful job on the transfer market there's some comfort that Liverpool is way worse. They've replaced Torres with Carroll and Suarez with Balotelli :)))))
I'm back comrades :D
Tsipras, work and vacation kept me away.
Well done to Ernesto Valverde for exploiting crappy Barca Swiss cheese defence!
I missed most of the developments. I need to catch up! :p:
^I did, but you are an idiot who does not check fb/pm etc
btw BigBen, Pedro is not a midfielder!
Though Luis Enrique did want to turn him into a wing back this season :s
Still your comment about Balo replacing Suarez etc is spot on
I think Van Gaal got to the transfer deadline day and just panicked.
I hear Tottenham offered £10m for Martial but were told they could have him for £20m....has LVG lost the plot?
I prefer the days when we had players like Welbeck and Cleverley. Yes, they were cr&p, but they were our own.
Romania is probably the only team that can't score against Greece. :p
Even Faroe could......
Balls.........:angryfire:
Amazed by how bad Greece have been this campaign. To even have Faroe Islands ahead is crazy.
Second place, does give direct qualification ! ;)
second does assure direct qualification now doesnt it? 24 teams.
Greece should have given Ranieri...more time  :D
Greece should have played with Samaras  :D
Who ? :p:

A series of mistakes lead to this situation.
Now it's quite hard to rebuilt a team when most of the players perform well only at Mykonos beaches and clubs with drinks and girls.
England 0-0 Switzerland at HT was a real bore feast.
After 5 minutes of the second half its better.
Switzerland games are boring - always
England games are boring - almost always
put them together and...well. you know.,
We must top the boring rankings anyway even if not FIFAs ;)
I think Romania's last 3 matches ended 0-0 so stop bragging
And De Gea signs a new contract after being reported he was super eager to leave all summer. That's really strange. Maybe he read into Real's shenanigans and saw they wanted him really bad but weren't prepared to pay any money for him... this from a club that paid more than a quarter of a billion for just 3 players.
No recent talks on Serie A.
I wonder why :p:
Just concentrate on your Barca ody, Juve will be back on Top, don't you worry !!!
No worries. I'm sure a solution will be found :p:
I know no one cares but I'll keep you updated anyway . BVB got to a wonderful start of the season, 5 wins in 5 matches and plenty of goals. Unfortunately so did Bayern and BVB's slide has already began. After 2 draws they're no 4 points behind. I think the Bundesliga is the most lopsided championship of the big ones. You have the big 4 in England where even finishing top 4 is a big breakthrough for the middle table teams. And then in Spain there's Barcelona, Real Madrid and the rest but in Germany Bayern is on its own. Most teams play half assed against them and the only thing they want is not to be humiliated... no wonder Lewandowski scored 5 goals in 9 minutes.
A statistic
Robert Lewandowski - 5 goals in 9 minutes
Sergio Aguero - 5 goals in 20 minutes
Mario Balotelli - 5 goals in 16 months
So Rodgers gone, is Klopp going to LFC?
Kind of surprised at the timing of this really, however also not that surprised.
International week so I guess its the best moment for a while.
