Wow! Ucci will never stop! :)
Two interesting rallies next week: Rally dei Laghi(lakes in italian)and Ronde Canavese...let's hope a nice entrylist for them ;)
Neuville and Wydaeghe in Il Ciocco

Luca Hoelbling is going to compete in Campionato Italiano Rally Terra with Hyundai i20 R5 from SA Motorsport:

Marco Signor, the third driver of last year's championship, is going to drive Volkswagen Polo R5 in Campionato Italiano Rally this year:

The entry list for Rally Ronde Canavese looks quite good, with Marco Signor, Elwis Chentre, Oliver Burri and over 20 R5 cars:

There is another interesting rally in Italy this weekend - Rally Terra Valle del Tevere. I noticed many good drivers from the past on the entry list - Andrea Masselli, Matteo Gamba, Emanuele Dati, Alessandro Broccoli, Jader Vagnini plus a new driver - Bruno Bulacia:

La Scandalo from 2019 continues. Titles should be awarded again...

Not just Neuville....confirmation also for Craig Breen in i20R5.

Those two drivers will be huge challenge for Italian drivers. Looking forward.
Ucci, how it is in Italian Championship - you need to somehow register into CIR or Neuville and Breen will score points even with one outing?
If I understand correctly, foregin drivers score points for every outing....Here is Italian version of CIR regulation: "Conduttori stranieri: se non iscritti al campionato, in classifica saranno considerati trasparenti ai fini del punteggio, in tutte le classifiche"
One step at a time but at the Rally del Ciocco there will also be the Italian multiple champions Giandomenico Basso and Lorenzo Granai, this time in action with the Skoda Fabia R% evo of the Veneto team Delta Rally.
This was announced by the driver himself, on the pages of the newspaper “la tribuna di Treviso” which reports: “First of all, let's go to Ciocco: in these days we will try to close a project for the other races of the championship, but in the meantime let's think about the first one”.
So it is not certain that the "Giando" will run throughout the CIR season, probably the results will also be decisive, the hope remains that the driver from Treviso will be able to try again the assault on the national title in a particularly rich championship.

Note that Andrea Nucita will drive a 208 Rally4 and aims victory in CIR 2WD ;)

Interview with famous gearboxes and dampers creator, Martynas Samsonas about his rally in Rally terra valle del tevere

What a surprise for Ciocco, first the entry list (36x R5 cars!!) and Paolo Andreucci in private Fabia with MRF tyres. Althaugh I do not expect anything special from him (1st time in Fabia and MRF is crap on tarmac) he will still "spice" this event....

From that entry list, does it mean that Breen is registered in CIR?
From the entry list, I think he will use the "old spec" R5 car, not the Evo...
Why do you think I'm not?
Currently no R5 is a space shuttle a level above others. Rules don't allow that. All cars are very close in performance and the main advantage of Fabia is that at the moment it's probably the best all-rounder of them and the most reliable one. However Italian asphalt stages aren't her typical playground. Rougher, faster and usually gravel events are.
No, it will be already Evo2 version.

Yes. This is the list of drivers registered in CIR 2021:

CIR = Campionato Italiano Rally
CIRA = Campionato Italiano Rally Assoluto
Test Pre-Ciocco 2021 | Thierry Neuville - Craig Breen

Oh, really? Sorry for my mistake then. I found two different translations for CIRA:
1 - Campionato Italiano Rally Assoluto
http://www.acisport.it/public_federa...zione_2021.pdf
2 - Campionato Italiano Rally Asfalto
http://www.rallylink.it/pdf/classifiche/2020/cira.pdf
and had no idea which one was correct.
New liveries!

Andreucci only beaten by Neuville on SS1 despite being on MRF tyres.

MRF were quite good last year in ERC and I bet they must be better this season.
On the other hand 2 km stage says nothing about the tyres. Long stages will show.
