I don't agree with point 2. The car was fully developped and already a winning car by that time. In my opinion he just didn't have enough testing. Another not mentioned and also important issue is that he used Pirelli tyres.

If I were an Italian driver, I would do exactly the same. Italy is full of fantastic rallies. Current WRC is only about money, not talent and passion.

Novikov is very close to a deal with team Motus to drive their Fiesta for full CIR and some IRC rallys ;)

We will see, but this info is "travelling" through italian forums from Sunday. I dont know if it is true or not, but I have heard some rumours he was in discussion with A-Style about renting Fiesta...

Novikov in CIR? Tough lessons he will receive...
