After that incident I don’t intend to come and spectate the event in 2024, I’ve thought of doing so but that was before Breen so coupled with that & the incident with Ogier in 2021 it’s a hard pass from me. I honestly hope we won’t see this event next year on the calendar, yes the landscapes & the stages are nice but this could’ve easily been another disaster. At the very least I’d give this event a red flag for them to sort out things like these.

Yeah the event really grew on me despite my early criticism of it replacing tarmac classics. But as I live not to far a way and it was a fabulous event to watch last year I really hope it sticks around a bit longer as I coudn't go this year but would like to go again in the future.Quote:

Glad that Tänak delivered nice points despite all the problems he had again. Punctures for Ogier and Rovanperä gave bonus for sure.
Glad that Lappi reached to the finish and got podium for the team.
It was nice that they did not canceled the rally. It was not funerals, it was enjoyable rally, and Breen was remembered and respected.
Takeaway - people should be also that much valued when/till they are alive.
