Well of course it will be difficult..
But think of this: driving a rally car is supposed to be difficult, that's what makes it fascinating to see those guys do so well what we can't or don't..
So its already difficult...the question is "how much more difficult" than what he could already do before??"
Some things however have become easier since his best days..Certainly the long travel suspension has made some things easier..like "saving it" when doing crazy mistakes..Engines he might look at as easier..1600 smaller but can rev more...same power as before but delivered "easier" maybe
That's why we're interested....and not just with Marcus' return but I'm crossing my fingers for Loeb, too.
Lookin good.
Morning guys. Shakedown starts in a minute.
Judging by the order in WRC Plus, we will have Grönholm and Loeb as the last pair for tonights super special.
The Toyotas will be hard to beat this weekend. I wouldnt be shocked if we have three Toyotas in top 4/5.
quite a nasty bump near the end of the stage, throwing the car quite a lot
R5 with a longer stud michelin looks good

Pontus might aswell be driving r5... or maybe he is 😁
Nice pace from Suninen, given his limited snow rallying experience.

Suninen: None
Tidemand: Yellow
Mikkelsen: Yellow

Though many drivers having orange visor attached to helmet but not using those.
Some 10 years ago no one had any of these.
wow, Neuville way fastest than everybody else on third run
E:Meeke has had a problem or is his time wrong on third pass? 3 minutes down
Times looks strange half way through 3rd passes. Haven't been following car by car, but it seems strange that everyone in the top is within 1-2 secs around 4:10-4:11 and the Neuville goes so much faster followed by Loeb and Latvala.
Myabe someone (Meeke? looking at his time) "remove" some snowbank?
Katsuta on pirellis?

Let's start a discussion about Shakedown times impressions just to piss NOT off.
Neuville sounded very happy and confident pre-rally and his fast SD seems to back it up.
Tanak has the proven car and the speed and Ogier always goes well here if the road conditions are good.
Should be another great battle.
Neuville seems well prepared, but tomorrow will be difficult for him. I'm a bit surprised by Latvala's and Mikkelsen times. Also expected Tidemand to show more speed right from the start. The others more or less as expected.
Nice job guys, I like those. Evans set fifth time, I think he can easily challenge for a podium here.
