Eh? The rally starts only tomorrow...
Mirek, you are late ;) Today was qualification stage..
Yes but how can You get penalty in a stage which is not part of the rally?
Edit: It's no penalty. They just write he finished QS 40 seconds behind Lappi due to broken wheel.
If there is some penalty, it has to relate Polish Championship regs someway..
That makes sense.. Luckily it´s ´only´ qualifying stage. I think KK is the only one who can challenge EP-L in the Rajd Polski.Quote:

Tsjoen will be there, livery has already been showed. Last year it was Msport's fault. I remember he started abroad in Italy and did it quite good against the locals.

OES Records video, incl. Lappi hitting a rail and Kajto in problems. 69 Rajd Polski 2012 - Kajto Przygoda by OesRecords - YouTube
Kajetanowicz broke left front suspension during cut na qualifying stage, later because of that he hit a barrier with right side and make a spin, so 40sec lost
Lappi said, there was tarmac under the gravel so it was difficult to drive ;)
Trying to learn the Skoda as he couldn't test it before the rally.
Is there free practise times somewhere?
Yep, here.
Can't see them with opera, but works with chrome.

Timing problems for SS4
No crew finished yet whereas stage started about 20' ago :mark:
SS4 overall
Lappi
Kosciuszko +2.3
Lappi, this guy have potential
There's a little video with Černý before the event. He said he was very happy with the stages, nice nature, friendly people and everything. He is happy to drive on gravel after a long time despite he had no test and needed to find good setup during the rally.
Anyway great battle of Lappi and Kosciuszko :)
And lots of it. He won every event in Finnish National Championship this year and was faster than Ogier in many stages at NORF.Quote:

here´s a onboard from lappi:

that guy really has some talent, kosciuszko isn´t a nosepicker too(maybe not fastest guy on earth for sure but also not the slowest ;) ) and lappi bashes him hard on homesoil at a for lappi unknown rallye.
btw: kosziuszko just stopped in stage 10...
Kosciuszko stopped on SS10
Two main battles are both over now. Kosciuszko crashed and now also Jan Chmielewski fighting for 2WD victory with Jan Černý is stopped :(
Lappi takes a dominant victory in Poland. Excellent!
Shame that onboard(s) audio was fcked up.
Congratulations to young Lappi for a very convincing victory. About other drivers: average performance by Solowow, Kosciuszko did what he is able to (shame for retirement) and we got another proof that R4 class has no chance on the gravel against S2000. I expected at least on some stages that Kajetanowicz will be in contact with best S2000 drivers, but nothing out of that....
Kajetanowicz had big disadvantage because of bad starting position yesterday.
He also broke wheel again yesterday...
Imo it was a mature drive from Esapekka. Had to push but not going over the limit of his skills.
And as he said on MTV3 web site (or whoever did the original interview): “A nice rally. Thanks to Skoda for the opportunity to drive this rally”.

What a great driver this young Lappi is! In his first visit in Poland and in a new car he wins 10 out of 13 stages and of course the whole rally. Lappi, who is 21 now, is the youngest ever driver who won Rally Poland.
