It is fine that Loeb is the best driver also. But there is something we have to understand. Why Loeb hit a stone, it damages his car but he can continue and finish the stage. But when Marcus or Petter hits it, their cars can't resist?

Even Loeb said that on his website that he has been lucky after damaging his car but others had to pay for that.

If you say that he is the best, don't forget his co-driver. Who I think is the best in the WRC.

Unless the car let him down, otherwise since he is ahead it is almost impossible to dislodge him. Time for him to run following Marcu's splits and we knows that he is the Boss in this game.

In MC2007, Pipo didn't say the same thing about PSA and Ford engine.
For the "top speed", I remember many rallies where the Xsara was not faster than Sub, Ford or 307...

Maybe for Sordo, Hirvonen still has to increase the gap, but I don't think that Chris will maintain the pace. Sordo will eat him at the end of the day

Got the part where Paul Howart said that they could run the car for 20years and it would most likely never happen again.

I may be totaly wrong about this but i think the oilcooler sits inside one of the carboncovers in the front on iether side and gets air from the intake on the side of the bumper so it's very unlikely a stone could get in there and brake a blade on the fan wich made the hole in the cooler

Really sounds extreme for something spectators would do. I would think of enviroment activists or so. Shame anyway. This could cost Mexico Rally it's head for the WRC calender next year...

Yes, these days there are so many rallies wanting to join and FIA is under lots of pressure to justify their choice of included events that any little mishap might topple rally from the calendar. Given that Australia looks set to make return, at least one of current events is in danger.
