this weekend´s the next run for DRS, the rallye wartburg, start is on saturday evening.

really interesting entries are egon kaur who leads wrc academy, and sepp wiegand who will drive riedemanns fiesta r2 at rallye germany. both use the rallye as a test. i consider wiegand as one of the best(or maybe even best) german talent at the moment. he´s never driven sutch a powerfull car yet, but had very good results with his suzuki swift group n. for example drove at rallye rouerque(first rallye outside of germany) and set lots of fastest times in the french suzuki cup and also was faster then twingo r1 cup drivers on several stages. so im very exited how fast he will be compared to kaur. are there tarmac rallye´s in estonia? is kaur used to tarmac?
There are no tarmac rallies in Estonia. Only some stages are driven on tarmac and those are basically the super special stages because they take place in the city/town.
ah ok, thanks. so he probably has almost no tarmac experience i guess...
Kaur has driven the Almere Rally in the Netherlands once ;)
i visited wartburg rallye yesterday, must say kaur was quite on the limit, at last on one place he was very spectacular. but as a german i´m also a bit proud that sepp wiegand can keep up with him. he was also faster on some stages then kaur. it´s the first time he drives the fiesta and its only the 2nd season he´s driving rallye in his life, he´s only 20 years old now. on he other hand kaur of course has not mutch tarmac experience as we know now, so i maybe should not overrate this. but let´s see what the german academy round will bring.

kahle won the rallye, 2nd was corazza and 3r burkart. kaur unfortunately crashed.

When the driver subscribe before 25.10.2010 the cost is 120 euro, otherwise it is 160 euro. Maybe the entry costs are lower for foreign drivers.

The rally is 80,9 km long including 5 SS over 34,70 km. There is 78 % gravel.

My photos today online too.
Our trip/race in Lausitz went quite an good althought a lot of happenings: 2 times off road (day 2 first ss and time lost was 55seconds), in one SS 5km before the end lost the brakes, 20seconds time penalty because service time limit, and a LOT OF dust in the stages.
After that we won the group N and overall result was 8.th position.
I just hear that after the race our both helmets and Hans has been stealed. :( That has been done in parc ferme area.
Two questions: On the last pictures, where exactly is the road where the cars continue, because I can't see any. Then.... the picture IMG_9035.JPG (between Trabant and Mazda 323), is that car allowed as hand luggage by most air carriers? What car is that anyway ... a Fiat 127 or similar?Quote:

Finally Lara Vanneste back aside of Christian Riedemann at Wikinger Rallye in two weeks ;)
On seeded entrylist of Wikinger Rallye Felix Herbold back in the Fiesta S2000 and Mickael Kolbach as codriver or is it a mistake :confused:
Edit: I've just read on his website he will drive Fiesta in Wikinger and then switch back to DS3 on next events ;)
sulzinger dont have the money for start in the fiesta of the robot racing team. finaly herbold drive the fiesta at wikinger rallye next week.

Herbold dominates the race ahead of Wallenwein(Mark)and Riedemann...
Tomorrow big battle to wait for 3rd overall between Riedemann, Wallenwein brother, Madsen and Jensen... ;)
Looks like Wallenwein(the one in the Subaru)crashed on SS10 Wikinger Rallye...and stage stopped :confused:
