Note return of Pascal Enjolras on the 207 S2000 of his father's team(MES - Michel Enjolras Sport)
I wonder if he abandoned the Lotus Exige GT
Strange also, Pieter Tsjoen on the entrylist whereas he seems to have affirmed after Alsace he retired from french championship  nice if he changes his mind though...
A rumour also talk about two Citroën DS3 R3s there(one for Stéphane Sarrazin as scheduled, the other for a...surprise??)
Edit: coincidence but the Finale de France des rallyes will also happen the same week-end as the Critérium des Cévennes(end october) :s
You can see the names and cars of the qualified drivers on http://www.finaledesrallyes2010.com/
stupid thing to have the Finale at the same date that the Critérium ...
My mistake :s Criterium des Cevennes is next week, Finale is a week after ;)
As usual the Critérium des Cévennes will be on http://www.patricksoft.fr/ for the live results ;)
Note SS1(11km long) will be run thursday evening...
Note also a 42km long stage to be run twice on saturday(last leg of the rally)
Funtastic victory for Bryan Bouffier at the Critérium ds Cévennes today :bounce:
Cédric Robert was leading with 26" before last "monster stage"(42km long)but had a puncture in this stage and lost suddenly 1'38"(he still finished 2nd and saved big points in the championship) :mark:
Great podium for Emmanuel Gascou running in S2000 on tarmac for the first time(remember his pace at the start of Terre des Cardabelles on gravel two weeks ago)
Stéphane Sarrazin in the Citroën DS3 was hampered by a puncture yesterday, and a few mechanical problems today forcing him out of assistance too late(he should get penalties)but realized intersting times compared to Emmanuel Guigou in the Renault Clio R3 "Evo"(they finished 6th and 7th overall)...
Annoying situation, Romain Dumas in the Porsche GT3 Evo was really promsingly fast on night SS1(3rd fastest time !!!)but his car broke down after(retired on SS2) :(
Edit: just before rallye du Var, last round of french tarmac championship, Cédric Robert and Bryan Bouffier get exactly the same amount of points ;)
Hey, this coming week-end is the Finale de la Coupe de France des rallyes, the event so many "amateur" drivers are preparing from the start of the season, and eagerly awaiting :)

Is the DS3 R3T and Clio R3 running in the same class in France ?Quote:

Has France, or will France adopt the new R-Class system in 2011 ?Quote:

But the new R4 cars, if their are particular cars for this category, will have a new category for them, it's sure if we see the classification system now.
In France, we have now :
R1
R2B
R3T
R3C
R3D (I'm not sure, there is not a lot of Punto :D )
I would like to know:Quote:

Thnx in advance
I don't know for the B in R2 class, I will see what's it ;)
C --> R3 2000cm3. It's, I think, the official name of these cars (the Clio and the Civic)
T --> R3 1600cm3
D --> R3 Diesel :D (2000cm3 ? maybe ...)
Can be found here in article 260 and 260D:
http://argent.fia.com/web/fia-public...penform&lang=a
Thnx a lot both of you :)
thx Sulland :p
There is no R2C isn't it ?
to make it short:
the letters (A, B, C) describes engines capacity:
- A - to 1,4
- B - 1,4 to 1,6
- C - 1,6 to 2,0
the digits describe the range of modifications allowed (1 - min, 3 - max).
letter T means Turbo (DS3 R3 and 207RC), letter D means Diesel (Punto R3D)
vino_93, there is possibility in rules to build car according to R2C rules
Citroen C2R2 is R2B, Twino R2 is also R2B, (Twino R1 is R1B)
There are no big differences between R2 and R3, just weight, rim dimensions, etc.
Has anyone or is there in the network a list of R1A, R1B, R2B, R2C, R3C, R3D and R3T homologated cars nowadays rallying around? I mean makes and models, not specific plates or cars... :)
I don't think so as group R is currently only homologation extension to group A. For example - Citroen C2 is homologated in group A under homologation number A-5672 and there are homologation extensions called "VR2B" (Variante Rallyes R2B). So there is no pure group R homologation so I think there is no list of group R homologated vehicles on FIA www, but I may be wrong :)Quote:

Peugeot 207RC - R3T
Fiat Punto - R3D
Fiat 500 Abarth - R3T
Last round of the french gravel championship, rallye terre du Vaucluse, is only within two weeks, but entrylist looks already splendid :D

Note Brice Tirabassi at the wheels of a Skoda Fabia...WRC :)
