Without a single stage win, Conrad (above) won the Cape Town rally by 2.1 seconds. Lying 6th overnight, Conrad drove a calculated rally while the other top runners self destructed,
Leader overnight (habig) hit a jump to hard and landed on the second one breaking everything in the front, Gemmell's failure is still uncertain and Cronje had propshaft problems

Charl Wilken and Greg Godrich will be getting a new Fiesta from M Sport for the rest of the 2010 South African championship after their car burnt out in the opening round in March.
The car will be arriving this week ahead of the Sasl rally on the 23rd/24th f April
