Cavallini is loosing 9.4 sec compared to Basso, so Basso is taking the lead. ;)
Both Travaglia and Cavallini are together at second place overall at 5.1 sec of Basso. ;)
What a nice battle!
Heavy rain on SS 6.
And do you know what tires they have on the cars, is it all slicks?Quote:

Cavallini is loosing lots of time (about 42 sec) to Travaglia, maybe because of weather conditions?
He is dropping back to fifth place overall, behind Signor and Michelini. :(
Torlasco also loosing lots of time and dropping back to fourth Clio R3 in overall classification. :(
From Pluto:
Tobia Cavallini (12) had a puncture.
Michal Solowow (2) had a puncture.
Luca Betti (4) has problems with differential.
Giandomenico Basso (1) has problems with stabilisation bar.
Thanks a lot Mirek for this info. ;)Quote:

Basso is trough last stage of the day, 16 sec faster then first run trough.
Travaglia 5.6 sec slower, but just keeping his lead at end of day 1. ;)
So Travaglia is first 1,8 sec. in front of Basso.
Awesome :D
After seven stages, end of today:
1. Travaglia 1h03'57"9
2. Basso at 1"8
3. Signor at 35"9
4. Michelini at 40"3
5. Cavallini at 44"8
6. Perico at 48"2
7. Antonelli at 1'22"4
8. Fontana at 1'55"9
9. Solowow at 2'09"3
10. Manzini at 2'17"5
Tomorrow the battle continues with six more stages, looking forward to it. ;)
All top 10 in S2000,first non-S2000 is Illiev who is 11th (if I remeber)
Yes, and only two Punto's, the rest is all Pug's. But both Punto's on the podium, in second and third. ;)Quote:

I must say I am a little bit dissapinted with the ERC TV....
First day was finished a long time ago and still there are only 6 shakedown videos....
Last year with Fontana they were a lot quicker...
C'mon Cricket,we know you can do better!
Last casualty of yesterday's leg of 1000 Miglia was Cristiano Manzini(207 S2000)with broken wheel in the last curve of SS7 :(
Basso is eleven seconds faster as Travaglia on stage 8, taking also overall lead now. ;)
Very close fight for third podiumplace, Perico going from sixth to fourth after this stage. ;)
Travagia loosing more then half a minute on stage 9, what has happened? :(
Cavallini and Perico are flying on stage 9, maybe good tires for this stage? They are now fourth and third overall, whilst Signor is now in fifth.
Only Travaglia is trough stage 10, for the rest i don't see any stagetimes, what is going on? :(
Travaglia is loosing a lot more time on this stage, he is also loosing second position overall. :(
Second best time in a rough for Cavallini, who is now back in second overall, pushing Travaglia to third and Perico is now fourth. :)
Travaglia had problems with handbrake.
The last loop of stages is in... ;)
Rain apparently :mark:
Basso +32s off Travaglia !!! Strange
Looks like an accelerator problem for Basso
What happened with Alphonso Di Benedetto, he was doing rather strong race? :(
Guys, I have just returned home and the first thing I did was check the Mille Miglia results. The second thing I did was check the forum and read all of your posts. Thanks to you I now know about everything that happened yesterday
Just like you, I'm also disappointed in FIAT. Basso is the only driver that still carries the banner of the Italian manufacturer high. All other drivers decided to switch to Peugeot. FIAT should really do something about it before it's too late. It's a pity Emanuele Dati decided to skip this rally (it doesn't count for the Privateers Cup). I'd bet he would be another FIAT in top 10.
I'm also disappointed in Tlustak's performance. He has the best car, but is only 10th among front-wheel drive cars after SS11.
Great performance from Travaglia, Basso and Cavallini! And Solowow is heading for his best Mille Miglia ever!
Basso is 6.7 sec faster as Travaglia on the penultimate stage, so one to go for him. ;) ;)
With one stage to run, it seems like positions are fixed now:
1. Basso
2. Travaglia at 35"3
3. Cavallini at 56"8
4. Perico at 1'15"2
5. Michelini at 1'44"7
6. Signor at 2'03"8
