i think this has happened before with Solberg in Germany some years back and i think he also finished on podium that year but i might be wrong.

I was looking high res onboard several times and there were just a few meters of ruts. So, he hit those in wrong angle and when the ruts ended and more solid surface started... bang and car was in the air already! They are slightly visible. The same stage was used last year and probably there were some holes already. These were filled but for some reason, this hole was rutted again and sandy surface came out again.
So are the roads in Poland really as fast as or faster than Finland?
I was looking onboard again and it seems that right hand rut ends before the left ends, so, right han rut ends, lifts right hand side and puts more weight to the left, just a fraction later, left hand wheels reach to the end of the rut and get major hit with extra weight that lifts the car on its side and following roll.
Looking at the footprint on the pics it looks like the second compression on something that looks like a rock/stone flipped the car over - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jh1XlG3LATQ
