Sorry, my mistake.
Yes, that prototype was built by Jaton 4wd, and Argentinean team (or half spanish) with facilities both in Argentina and Spain.
It was born as with a Citroen C4 shape, and late this year, "changed" to Mitsubishi. Driver will be Peruvian Orlandini.

It does have a Diesel engine, probably a Toyota from the Hilux. This last part is my suposition as Jaton runs several Hilux T2 (or almost T2) Xavi Foj last year winner of T2 (With a Toyota Prado, same engine than Hilux) and a Hilux T1 proto also with the same 3.0 diesel engine.
It makes sense that this proto running a Diesel would also use a Toyota engine (logistics wise) but what a Frankenstein that would be:
Toyota Engine, Citroen C4 shape, and Mitsu badge and denomination!

Ah thanks. Lets see how it performs. I guess reaching the finish line would be a great achievement given that Orlandini is a Rookie.
