I appear to have mistakenly thought though at the end of last year an announcement was made for all the cars ran in the main championship were to go to the S2000 regs.

So in effect the Fiestas in the SWRC ran by MM Motorsport and Team Ford/Quinta Do Lorde will be the same as those ran by BP Ford Abu Dhabi, Adapta, Monster WRT, Munchi's and Ipatec. I know those in the main championship go by the Ford Fiesta RS, and I think those in the IRC are the R2's, but the technical spec of both is that of the S2000.

What is the primary difference between the MINI S2000 and the MINI WRC? Or as Mirek said cars ending in S2000 and cars ending in WRC just differ in some smaller way like a different aero package?

I was just going to ask about this. It's mentioned in this article at MTV3's site.

Gr. N car = S2000?

In the interview he also says that it wouldn't have been difficult for him to gather budget to buy a seat at Ford, but "he prefered a team that values him more as a driver than a buyer".

Also mentiones that development work for DS3 WRC has been going on for a year and a half.

Last info off the weather we had last nigt alot of rain and today wetsnow so the snow is changing in ice so that will be great for the rally cars.

I see 4 Ford Fiesta WRC's now on entry list, Latvala, Hirvonen, Block and Kuipers. Awaiting Mathew and Henning? also no sign (yet) of Kimi, Van Merjkstein and Petter. Does anyone know what time today entries close, mid day or end of the business day, e.g 17:00 or whenever.
