If and when you have a car Alkio-opisto at Korpilahti is pretty much a perfect place to stay during the rally - of course you miss night action at Jyväskylä (night action at Korpilahti is wayyy more hardcore ;) ). I've studied for a year at Alkio a decade ago and buildings were bit tired but okeyish (and as far as I know they've been renovated), but the area is cozy, peaceful and beautiful. Concerning the rally, it is very well located. You have good connections to stages on Friday morning (near Petäjävesi) and on Saturday near Jämsä. And of course shakedown. Perhaps a downside is that you must use road E9 pretty much always and that is always jammed during the rally. (I think there is short shortcut road to junction that leads to Petäjävesi that you can use without having to use E9). But traffic's something you have to deal with anyway. If the price is right, it's easy solution, I'd say.Quote:

Most of it is very fast and wide road. There is very beautiful places when road goes between two lakes... It was driven two year ago as road section before that same stage and we think then that it would be nice to drive in rally also... I don't remember any single places but spectacular driving for sure through that section... That stage is good from start to finish. One of my favorite in this rally...Quote:
