So seriously relative to every other countries.
So Raheem Stirling gone to City to warm their bench for 49 million pounds. Liverpool absolutely got the better of that deal. Good player, could be a great one, but he has a crap attitude and is being seriously manipulated at his so called manager. Can't delieve Firimo cost 29 million less than what Liverpool got for Stirling, the term laughing all the way to the bank springs to mind
^definitely, he is nowhere worth near 50m..could have been a great player if he had shown some skills by now that just running fast and scoring a few goals. I did not see any huge progression and he has been poor ever since the contract/transfer saga started; that tells a lot about his mental make-up. He could well blossom at City, but I do not think they will make a profit when they sell him down the line.
Meanwhile, Leicester finally has signed a great coach...Claudio Ranieri ! :p:
:cheese:
Now it seems that Liverpool have triggered Benteke's 'Get Out of Villa' clause and will be signing him. Looking better ans better for this season, plenty of old wood removed and some quality coming in.
Benteke up front with Sturrige when and if he is fit, with Coutinho and Firimo playing behind them and Henderson and Milner in the heart of the mid field, a bit premature to say, but I am getting a good feeling about the coming season. Losing Stirling is not a big loss, as I have said he could be a great player, but his selfish 'I am the centre of the Universe.... my agent says so' attitude will not be missed and the rteam spirit shou;d improve without this garbage
If Sterling is worth 50 million pounds than I must be worth around a million. But I think I'm worth like a kilo of potatoes so I value Sterling at 50 kilos of potatoes. Liverpool made a good deal, Sterling an excellent one and City are the losers of the silly season... but it's not like they throw away hard-worked money anyway.
Now it's interesting what Liverpool does with the money. They already have Baloteli so they should look for that useless Dane Arsenal used to throw money at... Bendtner or something. Is that guy still around? Baloteli and that guy would be the ultimate attack
Finally we have the groups for FIFA WC 2018 qualifications.
Romania will play against Denmark, Poland, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Montenegro. On TV they say it's a tough group.
Lol. Spain and Italy are in the same group. :p
Same for France and Netherlands.....
gadjo, are you coming to Denmark? ;) :p:
I might come if you promise to go out with me for a  and a pizza.
Ok, it's a date!

4-4
Crazy........
What a crazy game indeed
did not watch it, I still need a few more days of vacation after the 2015 season ;)
Didn't want Barca to win, especially when some Catalan tried to rob my wristwatch on La Rambla last Wednesday night. :p
soon you will have Pedro at that club :p:
I think 2009 and 2011 might be more like the reason you did not want Barca to win :p :spin:
Does anyone here think that Mourinho is really deranged? I don't mean it as an insult because of his despicable character but as a serious mental condition. I started having this impression after seeing him in an interview the previous season. He was going on about how there's a conspirancy to stop Chelsea from winning the EPL. He really seemed convinced that the FA actually has a very well defined secret agenda against him and therefor his team. He really seemed disturbed. Now the Premier League has just started and after just one match he went nuts again. Chelsea were lucky enough with a draw since both their goals were lucky and Swansea looked like the better team. But he sees everything the complete opposite of what everyone saw. Courtois' red card was wrong, Swansea only played better after Courtois' red card and so he goes on and on. He even picks on his own doctor because she was tricked by Hazard simulating an injury. The guy lookes more and more like a genuine psychopath.
Its just for show I think. As a person in real life he could be very different.
Still nice to see him lose though. I won't be watching the Premier League this season but I do hope some other team wins it than Chelsea...oh and ManU. '
City then or even ugh Arsenal! I know Liverpool won't :(
I will support Rainieri's Leicester...:D
Bilbao 4-0 Barcelona after 70 minutes:smash:
:o
return leg tonight...might have to watch it, forza barca
BVB started this season alright, 4-0 against Gladbach, the best team of the second half of last season. I think they have the potential to get back up there where they belong... 2nd place
Mou lost !?! :D Although apparently it was a fake score. :uhoh:
Forza Bilbao :D
Mou is striking me as going ever more crackers. lol
Barca have little chance of turning round the tie, but I may still watch.
Dont get much time for football or anything these days.
Business is booming but more busy than we ever expected.
1-1, so that is one trophy less than the glorious Pep 2009 year.
This must be the worst start of a season for Chelsea in their 12 year history.
Chelsea's start gets worse after yesterday 1-2 defeat to Crystal Palace.
West Ham can win 0-2 & 0-3 away to Arsenal and Liverpool but lose at home to Bournemouth and Leicester.
Bonkers league at the start.
