Suarez you clown... No need to walk like a duck, we all know you're wasting time :/
Pogba tries to get sent off
The ref always says no :p:
Mathieu in
Mathieu? :dozey:
Neymaaaaarrrrr :D
Neymar scores :dozey:
Well played pino :)
Laughable last couple of minutes.
Great passion by Juve!
For the 20 minutes after Suarez scored I was worried about how busy the Barca physio was going to be with all the terrible injuries they were picking up. But they all seemed fine sprinting around to celebrate when Neymar scored so nothing to worry about :)
Enrique gets treble in his first year. Must be easy to coach Barcelona.
Barcelona are playing a pre-season friendly at the Nou Camp on August 8th. I happen to be on holiday in Barcelona that week. How difficult will tickets be to get?
Whodathunkit at the beginning of the season!
Best squad won, nothin much to add. Still very proud of my Juve ! :)
So with the benefit of a few hours rest, the game finishing 7am. Here are some reflections.
The way Barcelona were going in the first half. I feared we were going to see similar games to recent Barca/Manutd finals, where Barca comprehensively played Manutd off the park.
I enjoyed the second half very much. I didn't think Juve would have it in them to respond so well to Barca's dominance.
That last goal in the end annoyed me.
I hope that whoever is in charge of buying and selling players at Liverpool looks upon Luis Suárez and realises that if you sell players who can score you goals, you don't score silverware but mid-table mediocrity.
^correct
You do not sell Suarez and instead get Lambert, Balotelli and Lallana and expect to see 31 goals.
I enjoyed this season totally, had its ups and down (very few, but the game against Sociedad in January was the turning point). Enrique may not be there next season but what an amazing last 4 weeks!
2009 treble was more exciting being the first, but this was very satisfying too. After the world cup and everybody in the team losing one way or other. Best send-off to Xavi (Pirlo should have gotten a better one, but he did win the double!)
OFFICIAL: Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Aleix Vidal on a 5-year deal from Sevilla after passing a medical.
I thought there was a transfer ban :dozey: :p:
He cannot play till January 2016. Doesn't stop them buying or selling players as per CAS.
That basically confirms that Alves will go, Montoya too perhaps. Quite a good player Vidal is.
basically yes but not really :p

Juventus already focused on next season; after wonder-boy Dybala from Palermo, today Khedira on free transfer from Real Madrid !
I hope they sign somebody who can score goals! :p:
Juve wants Tevez to stay, but it's up to him to decide. Next signing should be goalkeeper Neto from Fiorentina (don't worry Buffon will continue for 3 more years), then we will bring back our young talent defender Rugani (will hear a lot from him in the future), so we should be ready to chase our 5th scudetto on row ! :D
Wales 1 - 0 Second best team in the FIFA rankings
Lol :p:
Nice to see Wales actually might qualify for a change. 58 world cup only so far. Say what you like but Bale leads Wales quite well.

Faroe Islands-Greece 2-0
Not Ranieri fault after all then :p:
In the same group
N. Ireland - Romania 0-0
So boring game that I fell asleep.
Who saw Jack Wilshire's goals at the weekend? The second one was sweet!

England has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Women's World Cup after a stunning goal by Lucy Bronze saw the Lionesses to a 2-1 round-of-16 win over Norway.
- ABC News, 23rd Jun 2015
"Stunning" doesn't do this justice. This is a goal which wouldn't look out of place at the European Champions League.
Power. Contact. Bullet.
Congradulations to England women for finishing 3rd at the world cup. A great effort. Nice to see.
Also to Chile for winning there first ever Copa America, over a Argentina side, that really lacks direction.
Also a sad tale from the 2015 Pacific games football tournament.
Federartion States of Micronesia have sent a national team for the the first time in about 12 years and got off to a shocking start. They lost 30-0 to Tahiti.
Normally you would say things can only get better. There second game though ended up a 38-0 loss to Fiji.
One game to go.
Tahiti 30-0 Micronesia
Fiji 38-0 Micronesia
Vanuatu v Micronesia tomorrow. Keep battling lads.
I'm not sure what to make of Americans taking women's soccer so seriously. It's like the men's team is secondary. It's unusual.
Good on the Canadians for making a stadium where the sun directly faces a goal.
I'm not sure why you think that's the case:

players in the National Women’s Soccer League can receive as little as $6,842.
...
Instead, professional female footballers depend on sponsorships or second jobs to supplement their annual wages, which are capped at a maximum of $37,800.

The tale of salaries in women's sport is generally atrocious. Even in a sport mad country like Australia, I can't honestly think of a single sport (except maybe for people who are paid by the AIS) where jugadora take home enough of a salary to be able to even live off of.
