1.6 or detuned 2.0? Sounds different

Does sound a bit raspier than the current 2.0...

2.0 .. 1.6 isn't ready yet

so they tell us ;)

Wilson said in an interview that they already did some 1000 km with 1.6T. They only hasn't used direct injection yet. And besides that this isn't 2.0 just because of completely different sound.

If this is with the 1.6T it doesn’t sound bad at all and also looks better than the current WRC cars.
